  • Perfect Location!

"We had a wonderful time at The North Lodge! The Lodge was clean, roomy, and centrally located to many attractions in the U.P. We had a great time visiting Mackinaw Island, Oswald's Bear Ranch, TQ Falls, and the ghost town of Fayette. Our favorite adventure though was cliff diving at Black Rocks in Marquette! What a rush!We made it a point to get ice cream every night down the road at the Moose du Nord (try the Bear Claw, it's the best!!) We also enjoyed star gazing at night and saw many shooting stars. The Lodge itself was all that we had hoped for. It was even more beautiful than the pictures! We hope to return soon!!"

  • Beautiful Views/Charming House

"My husband and I stayed here with our 2 dogs for a week to celebrate our anniversary and we had a wonderful time. The views are spectacular and the house is adorable (although my 6 ft 3 in husband bumped his head at least once a day!). We loved having coffee in the morning in the screen porch, playing games at night in the studio listening to Lake Superior and relaxing next to a fire watching the stars. Our dogs loved playing frisbee in the yard and going to the nearby beach for a swim. It was a great vacation for all of us!"

  • Great cottage, great location

"Susan is amazing to deal with. Deposit was returned within 24 hours. Very clean and well appointed cottage. Has everything you could need. Plenty of space and in great condition. Short walk over the dunes to Lake Superior and across the street from the bay. 1/2 mile walk to a very quaint and friendly downtown. Everything you need for an amazing and relaxing family vacation. Thank you Susan for an experience we will always remember. We are already looking to book the cabin for our family vacation next year! This is our new family vacation tradition."

  • AMAZING place, GREAT people, nostalgic!

"Cant say enough good about this place! You drive in and there are lots of older boats on the charter portion, a lot of history there, and they have oats in the water available to take you on one of many charter fishing trips. The resort side has several small cabins, one medium size and one very large, which we rented. we also viewed inside of older cabins, regardless of which one you stay in they are immaculate and very well equipped. The owners are fantastic people we enjoyed time at the fire with, it is clear they have a passion for the resort and the guests being happy. We will be back next summer, most likely t stay longer, a week was not enough! Thank you Kimar family!"
