  • Great Vacation house

"We just got back from this rental. "LOVED it" House was very clean and had everything we needed. There were also a few surprises not listed, like the big tub for one. This was a simple and uncluttered home. Lots of storage so we could unpack. We enjoyed the puzzles on our rainy days and evenings (Thank you) The beds were not bad, but they could use newer sheets, they were old and the elastic was all stretched out and would not stay on the bed. But most important they were clean. We brought our kayaks and spent a lot of time paddling around the lake. We did find a nice sand bar across the lake were we spent a lot of time swimming. And after spending the day sight seeing it was so nice to come back to the house and relax. The owners were great to work with. There were a lot of information of things to do and see in the area. My kids don't agree, but I loved that their was no wifi, LOL Would defiantly come back."

  • Great house, great location. We loved our stay at Little Bay Gateway, thank you very much.

"This was our second stay at Little Bay Getaway and we loved it just as much as the first one. House is very comfortable and cozy and has everything you can possibly need for a great vacation. When we arrived it was very clean and totally prepared for us. Special thanks to Ron for meeting our request regarding allergy to house chemicals and fragrances, we appreciate that very much. Location is great. We really enjoyed our walks in park. We also liked going to near by Escanaba to visit park there and also have a meal at Sweedish Pantry. Little Bay Getaway is great point for exploring attractions of Michigan Upper Peninsula such as Pictured Rocks National Lake Shore and lovely city of Marquette. Another reason why we love coming to Gladstone for vacation is cool weather. We live in Baltimore, MD and vacation in Gladstone provides us with escape from hit and humidity there. We would also like to compliment farmers markets in Gladstone and Escanaba, fruits, vegetables, egs and fish are always fresh and taste fantastic. We definitely consider coming back in the future"

  • Fantastic location.

"The house is in an idea location. The deck is wonderful to have breakfast out overlooking Lake Superior. For us, the bike/running trail was in the perfect location - right across the road. Marquette is just 2.3 miles down the trail. It made for a wonderful walk/run to go down visit the bakery and then return. The house is by the highway but we never heard any traffic noise. It was like being secluded from the rest of the world yet right there. The Michigan information plaza was just a half mile away with very knowledgeable staff that was able to make sure we knew about the top spots to visit. The cabin was very nice. It was well furnished with all of the basics. It exceeded our expectations with extras. We will definitely try to stay here the next time that we visit."
