  • Beautiful Views/Charming House

"My husband and I stayed here with our 2 dogs for a week to celebrate our anniversary and we had a wonderful time. The views are spectacular and the house is adorable (although my 6 ft 3 in husband bumped his head at least once a day!). We loved having coffee in the morning in the screen porch, playing games at night in the studio listening to Lake Superior and relaxing next to a fire watching the stars. Our dogs loved playing frisbee in the yard and going to the nearby beach for a swim. It was a great vacation for all of us!"

  • Quaint cabin in a great location

"We had a great time during our weeklong stay at Kickapoo Camp. It's quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. The cabin was clean and as described. The oven and stove took a little getting used to (hint: the oven heats up really quickly and gets pretty hot), but by the end of the week, I'd mastered it. We loved the nearby nature preserves - Miller Marsh and Little Sand Bay especially. I did have a bit of cell service at the cabin, though it was spotty (AT&T). Love Beaver Island and we'll be back next year."

  • Beautiful views!

"Just returned from a great weekend in the Keewenaw, and this rental worked perfectly to celebrate our son's graduation from Michigan Tech. My husband and I had 3 of our kids and my mom along, and there was plenty of room for everyone - could have slept many more! The only negative of the house was having only one shower, but we made it work. We had bonfires both nights down by the pond, paddled the canoe around, watched 2 gorgeous sunsets and enjoyed stargazing as well. We hosted 15 people for dinner after graduation, so we appreciated the 2 dining tables and grill. By far the best feature of the property is the view from the house toward the meadow and pond with the hills beyond - so beautiful! We didn't have much time this visit, but we did fit in a quick stop at Hungarian Falls and a trip to Racers Burgers in Hancock - yum! I only wish we had discovered this place 5 years ago when our son started at Mich Tech... it was so much more comfortable and private for our whole family than the Country Inn and Suites!"
