  • The best place to call home away from home!

"We traveled to Munising for a fall getaway as a group of 8, 4 adult couples. The house was more than we expected. It was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The two bathrooms made it easy for the 8 of us to get ready for the days adventures. Upon departure, the expectations were well laid out so we knew exactly what we needed to do. The area around Munising offered so much to do. We enjoyed the many waterfalls, the local restaurants, the hikes, and the drives. Our favorite hike included going out to Chapel Rock. It was about 3 miles one way but well worth it! We also enjoyed the Log Slide and would have loved to spend more time climbing around on the sandhill. The community of Munising offered a wonderful coffee/ice cream shop and pasty shop (Muldoons). We did find that not everything was running in full capacity since it was the end of October."

  • Great place!

"We had a great weekend in Munising at the Michigan Ice Fest. The house was the perfect place to come back to at night. We loved how open the common areas were, and I was very pleased with how clean and well-kept the everything was. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised – I don't think the pictures in this profile do the house justice. I would recommend staying here."

  • clean and spacious

"Newly remodeled - everything fresh and new. Quite spacious - BIG closets. Big kitchen - well stocked with equipment. Comfy beds. Two sofas with recliners on each end. Fast internet. Close to downtown and the grocery store and ice climbing. It's on the lowest floor of an apartment building so there is some noise from upstairs tenants - similar to noises one would hear in a hotel setting. Would have loved a kitchen table but eating at the coffee table in the living room was ok since there was only three of us. All in all a nice place."
