  • Relaxing getaway in great location

"We've vacationed in the UP probably 15 times with our children (now adults), but we've never stayed in the same vacation home more than once. We've never found a home that had everything we wanted: a beautiful, clean cabin with good fishing that's conveniently located for attractions and restaurants. That is, until we stayed at Lindberg's Landing....we will definitely return to this home! The guys caught small and large mouthed bass, northern pike, and black crappie, and the birdwatching around the cabin was worthwhile. The home was super clean and well stocked with linens, dish and cooking ware, laundry, etc. as well as being comfortable and nicely furnished. Being 30 minutes from Munising made grocery shopping, Pictured Rocks National Seashore, and restaurants convenient. The Falling Rock Cafe was a great little coffee shop and deli - a new find for us this year! Great food and coffee, ice cream, gift shop with locally made products, walls of books to read, local entertainment in the evening, and free wifi were all fully enjoyed by our family. All in all, it was one of our better vacations in northern Michigan with excellent customer service through Hiawatha Hideaway Vacation Homes. A big thank you to the owners for sharing their beautiful home!"

  • Charming, spacious home with spectacular views!

"I booked this home for a Girls Getaway Fall color tour trip. This gem of a home couldn't of worked out any better! The main floor living space is more open and spacious than the pictures imply. The bedrooms and 2 bathrooms accommodated the 5 of us with no problem. The proximity to the town of Munising and Pictured Rock National Park was ideal. We thoroughly enjoyed making a bonfire and enjoying the beautiful view of Lake Superior. Would definitely recommend this home and will be back!"

  • A comfortable, convenient place for visiting the National Park

"We spent a week in Munising, and once we lowered the thermostat about 5 degrees, we were very comfortable in the place. We only spent time there in the evening after hiking, etc during each day, and found the DVD player built into the TV just the thing for relaxing with a movie after supper (the ability of both ends of the sofa to become a recliner was also a nice touch). We had to wash clothes part way through, and the washer-dryer in the basement was very simple to operate although we had to buy some Woolite because there was only some softener we could find. (We also had to purchase some toilet paper once the rolls on the wall ran out, and we filled the one garbage bag in the kitchen wastebasket mid-week and had to buy more kitchen bags as well -- fortunately, we had room to bring the rest of the bags home with us.)"
