  • A great place to stay at Boyne

"My family (two adults and four kids) stayed here for a ski weekend in late February 2016. It was clean, comfortable, and super-convenient. Dave & Karen were easy to deal with, and very accommodating when we had to reschedule at the last minute (which was much appreciated!). Being able to walk out the back and ski down to the lifts was a real plus. Thanks!"

  • Cannot Wait to Come Back!!!

"My family did not want to leave at the end of our week. The cabin far exceeded our expectations. We had so much fun fishing, swimming and kayaking in the lake. The cabin was very well equipped and very clean. The location is great and centrally located to many different attractions. We have a fourteen year old and an eleven year old and they asked us to make a reservation for next year which we have."

  • The stay was great!

"The place we stayed in was very well taken care of. It was a good halfway point between traverse city and a lot of the places around the upper part of Michigan, such as Leland and Suttons Bay. Bill was great, he greeted us in person when we got there, he had all sorts of good information for things to do around the place. He directed us to a terrific restaurant in Leland call The Cove, which was terrific. He also had some great suggestions as for Wineries to try out on the way up to the old mission lighthouse, along with a lot of additional things to check out while around Traverse city. For people with bikes, there's a really nice paved trail that runs very close to the property. The only reason I knocked off a star (if I could, I'd only knock off half a star) is because of the internet. We were a little disappointed by the fact that the internet didn't work. Bill did explain that they were installing fiber optic in the area and that was impacting the internet service, so I understand there wasn't much he could do. There was cable to occupy the evenings, but still it was a bit disappointing. With the internet, it would have been perfect! Thanks again for everything Bill!"

  • A Great Family Reunion

"We very much enjoyed our stay in this home. We especially liked the close proximity to town. It was a little far from the beach, but walking was definitely doable, especially on the road thru town and out to the beach/pier. The pier was a great place for an evening walk and viewing the sunset. The major appliances were all new and great. There was even a nice smaller washer and dryer in the carriage house. We would have enjoyed having a blender and better/sharper knives. There was 21 of us. We did some of our cooking in the carriage house as well as the main kitchen. We were a little disappointed that there wasn't an area large enough to all eat together. We did enjoy the porch on the back for our larger gatherings, though it was in the sun in the afternoon and evening. We were disappointed that the internet/wifi didn't seem to work better than it did. We just had a couple of minor things come up and our call was answered very promptly and the concern was quickly addressed and taken care of. It was a fun week."
