  • Large Group Retreat

"My group spent a weekend at the Loon Lake Lodge and had a great time. There is plenty of space and the cabin feels like a home away from home. You can get away from it all at this cabin, or you can go into town near Ferris State and have a night out. If you have a large group, and want a weekend away from your everyday trouble, I highly recommend staying at the Loon Lake Lodge!"

  • Beyond Expectations

"The house is wonderful, everything you need for a home away from home. We came here under difficult circumstances regarding a family emergency and the owners went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Their simply act of kindness surpassed our expectations and will not be forgotten. Faith in humanity restored."

  • Large cottage with everything you need for a relaxing vacation getaway

"We loved this property. Lots of lakefront footage with a dock and easy access to the lake. The kids loved the jacuzzi tub and fire pit. We also enjoyed the extra fridge on the back porch. The best part of this propert were the many different areas the family could congregate. There was a table and chairs on the deck by the lake, a set up by the covered porch on the house, the fire pit and the huge dining room table that overlooked the lake. We made lots of great memories this week."

  • Great lake for a family vacation

"Pros: We went with 2 adults and 4 kids. The cottage was comfortable - we didn't feel crowded. The beach and lake access were terrific. We rented a ski boat ( and the kids really enjoyed tubing - the lake was not busy during the week. The fishing was productive, which was a plus for the kids. Cons: There are laundry machines; but the owner won't allow you to use them - so you can't wash your clothes or towels during your stay. The cottage must run on well water, and the water had a high sulphur content, so it stank like rotten eggs. This meant that we had to filter any water we needed for drinking. The was a water pitcher with a filter in the fridge. There is no dishwasher, so be prepared to do your dishes by hand."
