  • Beautiful cottage near downtown Grand Haven

"This is our second stay at this beautiful "beach" cottage. Although it is several blocks from the beach, it has a very "beachy" atmosphere. The cottage is bright and white with lots of windows. It has all the amenities one could want including bicycles. The kitchen is well supplied. There is a large laundry room which is quite convenient. Bed linens and towels were supplied in abundance. The enclosed porch room is great for quiet sitting or eating a meal. The landscaping around the cottage is lovely with flowers and flowering bushes. It is walking distance to the downtown area which makes the location quite convenient. The landlords are friendly and always willing to help if any situation arises. Loved our stay!!"

  • Great location, many amenities

"We stayed here for a week overlapping with the Tulip Festival in Holland, MI. Great location, walking distance to a charming downtown and to the harbor. Quick drive to the beach, 30 mins to Holland and 45 mins to Grand Rapids. The house was very clean and comfortable, we let our 11 month old crawl everywhere. Wendy was very quick to answer emails. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for my family and our friends."

  • Would give more stars if I could

"I have zero complaints or suggestions or woes from this trip...our stay at Carrie's property was PERFECT. I have rented many property rentals from Home Away/VRBO and Air BnB and this was by far the best one yet. The attention to detail she paid to make our stay comfortable was amazing. She provided so much which helped since we normally go out and stock up on things we only use a little of. The house was adorable and comfortable. Several window AC units throughout to keep the temperature down, though we turned many off several times as we were comfortable enough. The back yard and entertaining space was perfect - they even had the fire pit all set and ready to use, which was very nice and accommodating (as us city folk forget how to build fires at times). It's a super short walk to downtown and the water, and in a very cute and safe neighborhood. Also it's only a couple blocks off 31 which made it easy to get to the grocery store and Lemon Creek wine tasting :) The two bedrooms aren't exactly separated, as they don't have doors, but we were two couples each with our own kid (one a baby) and all fared just fine. I had never felt so comfortable in a vacation rental, and we will DEFINITELY be back again! Thanks Carrie!!"

  • Fantastic Week, Fantastic House, Fantastic Location

"We loved, loved, loved spending the week and Pine Lodge. Plenty of room for the ten of us and lot's a space to be together or go off for some quiet time. The front porch is fantastic for hanging out and having dinner---loved the touch of the chandelier! Kids slept on the 3rd floor and have one of the best views you can get in Grand Haven. Truly a family home. Jim was great and we were happy to meet them in person! Understand why the house feels so warm and inviting---this is their home and they care about it. They want everyone to enjoy it as much as they clearly have!"
