  • So relaxing!

"We loved our stay at the cottage. The view is amazing and the steps to the water front are not too demanding. What a relaxing weekend for our family's first vaca in more years than I care to admit. :) The owners were a joy to work with!"

  • Great Location between Holland and Grand Haven

"This house is perfect for 4 couples. Great for families, however small kids really need a watchful eye because of all the steps. This house was very clean. The house has 4 levels, master on 4th level and the other bedrooms are on the 3rd level. Main living on the 2nd floor. There is plenty of room for everyone. The basement has all the beach supplies anyone would need, toys, chairs, umbrella's you name it they have it. You have your own private beach and right around the corner is an area for beach volleyball if you like. A short walk down the board walk makes walking to the beach very easy. Wonderful Lake Michigan views from the house and most of the bedrooms. The screened in porch is great. We spent most of our time on the front deck. There are no complaints. The owners were easy to work with. I hope to go back to this house again. I really like the dates in/out being on Friday's it's so much better than Saturday-Saturday. (when you get home from your trip, you still have the weekend to catch up before going back to work) Another great trip to Lake Michigan!"

  • Perfect Weekend Getaway

"This house was great for our mini family vacation. We had 5 adults and 2 toddlers. Everyone had their own space and the rooms were very comfortable. There is plenty of space for everyone to relax. The 3 season porch overlooking the lake was a great place to hang out, catching the breeze from the lake and avoiding the bugs. Caroline has the house so well organized and filled with anything you could want, from games and coloring books for the kids to tons of beach toys, blankets, and towels. The kitchen was especially well organized, making it easy to find things when preparing meals. She really goes above and beyond to make sure the house is ready for you when you arrive. We got in late in the evening and she stopped by to turn on the outside lights and A/C prior to our arrival and left us a plate of homemade cookies (a big hit with my 2 year old). We had a great weekend exploring the Pentwater River and Lake on our kayaks and having the dock to pull up to when we were finished paddling was really nice. The house is a short, easy bike ride into town or a 5 minute drive, so we were able to explore there and get the things we needed easily. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a place in Pentwater or near the Silver Lake area, mostly because Caroline is a gracious hostess who really makes sure her guests are content throughout their stay. She is easy to reach if you need something and even sent me back my son's baby blanket that was accidentally left. We will definitely be back to Pentwater and wouldn't hesitate to rent this same house again. Thanks Caroline!"

  • Great location! Close to beach, Silver Lake, Muskegon and ferry to Milwaukee.

"The short walk to the beach and view of Lake Michigan make this cottage a worthwhile destination. Our family of six, four adults and two children, have been coming here for six years which speaks for itself. The cottage, for the most part, is in great condition. However, it is showing its exposure to the elements, specifically the deck area. There are a lot of steep narrow steps up to the main living area and again up to the two 3rd level bedrooms which might be an issue for older people and very young children. There is, however, a king bed on the main living level. Overall a nice place to spend a week."
