  • Great Family Getaway

"We had a big family group with my husband and me, our grandkids ranging from 4th grade through high school and college, and their parents. This is the perfect house for a family reunion by the Lake. We all walked the few blocks to town, explored the safe neighborhood, hiked the 20 minute boardwalk to the swimming beach, stopped daily at Pronto Pup, took in the musical fountain, grilled our suppers out on the gas grill, and all watched the Democratic Convention on TV and hung out with games and visitors. There was room for everyone, yet privacy for those who needed down time. We had a birthday party on the big front veranda which can seat a whole gang at once. Even if someone just wants to sit and stare and rest, there are a lot of fun furnishings and artwork to delight the eye in this wonderful Victorian home. It is a place to savor being together."

  • Phenomenal location, perfect vacation house!

"Perfect vacation rental! Our family loved everything about our stay here. The house was absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations (fabulous kitchen and bedrooms). It has been renovated to perfection, has a luxurious feel, but also very homey. It has been beautifully decorated and the large front porch was a plus--we could hear the musical fountain at night. It was only a two minute walk to Chinook Pier where we loved to shop and walk the pathway that leads out to the pier along the channel. Everything else in town is within walking distance--the shops, restaurants, and fountain. The kitchen is loaded, the owners have supplied everything a person needs to cook meals and entertain. We especially loved the back yard which is furnished with comfortable chairs, a beautiful table and umbrella, a large BBQ grill and toys for the kids inside the storage unit--there's even a wagon! The second floor has three bedrooms, a full bath and nice utility space. All of the bedding is luxurious to boot! Every inch was spotless and we highly recommend this place--you won't be disappointed and will truly feel "on vacation.""

  • Mc6

"This is where you want to stay. Very tidy home (main living room is updated a bit from photos, flat screen, XM - that plays out by the pool!) and arboretum like backyard. The private pool itself is worth it! And the sunroom on a rainy day is a definate bonus. Grand Haven is a quaint little town with loads to do. Wonderful shops & restaurants, boardwalk, State Park (although we found a wonderfully private beach area at Rosy Mound Nature Area that is about a mile from the house!) and the musical fountain is a must see. This property is very centrally located to take day trips south to Saugatuck, South Haven or north to Ludington, Manistee and is about 20 minutes drive to Holland. We will definatly try to secure this property again next summer. And I must not forget to mention that the owner is a delight!"

  • Perfectly beautiful!

"My family of four spent a long weekend here and it was perfect! The condo was just as pictured and beautiful. The location couldn't be better, walking distance to all downtown shopping and restaurants. The Grill Room is a definite recommendation, as is the Pump House. We will definitely be back again!!"
