  • We were all very impressed with the home--so much nicer than staying in separate hotel rooms--

"My daughter who lives in Grand Rapids came over before our stay and the people that were staying asked her if she wanted to come in and check the place out--she reported that the stairs were pretty steep and not much else so we really didn't know what to expect---we had 7 adults and one 5 year old staying--when we 1st came in we were delighted that the house had a full stove, refrigerator, large dining room and two living rooms--2 baths were a plus also---my brother-in law and mother-in law could not come upstairs so they made do downstairs but the rest of us didn't feel that the stairs were a problem at all---the back yard was nice and the the two decks and table and chairs were great too---I hope that the neighbors did not have a problem with us as we had a family gathering on Saturday---we really didn't see the neighbors too much---parking across the street at the apartments was a great bonus too---things could not have gone any better other than the rain on Saturday! This was our 1st time using vrbo but it will not be our last---Thanks again Barb"

  • Hidden gem in the woods by the Lake

"Great place to spend our anniversary weekend. The home is on top of a dune surrounded by woods. In the evening with the window open you can hear the waves on Lake Michigan. The home itself is very clean and nicely decorated with an eclectic beach house feel. Kris was communicative and professional. Highly recommended!"

  • A gem, tastefully appointed with an excellent host

"This place exceeded our expectations. I was coming into Grand Rapids for a conference and decided to make it a long girls weekend away. It is truly walking distance to everything Grand Haven has to offer. Having the essentials, toilet paper, shower towels, bed linens was an awesome touch and so uncommon in the VRBO world. The host was available but not annoying for a very personalized stay. Loved Snug Harbor across the street and the Morning Star breakfast cafe. Both served delightful food well within walking distance of the condo. The pier was under construction during our stay, but the walk to the beach along the boardwalk was not affected. It was super cool to watch the sunset and big barges float into the mainland from the balcony. Will stay again!"

  • Vintage charm.

"We had a short but very sweet stay at, Mary Anne. Nice location, very close to the beach and even closer if you don't mind a steep trip down the sidewalk. It's a loved and well equipped home. The stairwell to the upstairs is a bit treacherous, but that can be expected in a cottage of this age. We loved it and found it perfectly accommodating. The owner was very kind and helpful. I would consider renting there again."
