  • Sweet little cottage with the perfect private association beach

"Mike was very helpful in preparing for the stay, and the cottage was ideal for our needs. The beach is simply gorgeous and very easy to get to from the cottage."

  • NYE Getawayy

"The Logged Inn cabin former guests' reviews pretty much cover all I wanted to say myself. The cabin is clean, well maintained and well equipped. Will come back here again when visiting the Holland - Saugatuck area. Management is very quick to answer all questions and to respond to any mishaps. We had a circuit breaker that tripped around 9:00 pm on NYE. Brent showed up 10 min. after we called and everything was back to order in no time. Great service, great time at the cabin!"

  • Easy, comfortable, delightful, sad to leave.

"Paul and Krissy are fabulous to work with, super easy, super accommodating. We had originally boomed the upstairs one bedroom unit. One thing led to another and we actually ended up in the larger downstairs or main floor unit, which worked out perfectly for us. The main unit, or main part of the house is 2 bedroom, one bath, just remodeled very nicely with full kitchen and a dining table. I felt like I was home! It's that comfortable. Everything is new and modern, so comfortable I was sad to leave. We were there for an impromptu family reunion which included step dads 90 th birthday. We had a blast. We were able to entertain 15 pretty comfortably. You need a car! It's sort of close to town. Myself and husband are very active so we walked to town and to freedom village and back but used a car for the grocery store, to and from GRR and to the beach. Could get away with town cruiser bike with basket. If you don't mind walking 8-10 minutes each way into town then this house is for you! We didn't and in fact looked forward to our walks. Neighborhood is jus that, people are working, going to school neighborhood. I found the neighborhood comfortable. Overall this place is light, cheery, comfortable, easy and a really nice place to stay. We will stay there again. Tracy Kurek"

  • Great for our two young families!

"We drive the easy 2.5 hours from Chicago and stayed at Phoenix in the Dunes with another family over the Columbus Day weekend. 4 adults and 6 kids under 6. The house was great. There was plenty of room for everyone and enough beds to spare. We like to cook and the kitchen had everything we needed and more...stand mixer, coffee maker, espresso machine (lattes!), massive stock pot, skillets of all sizes, multiple sets of dinner dishes, and on and on. The two story living room with fireplace was really comfortable. Everything about this house is just perfect. We went apple picking at nearby Crane's apple orchard, then avoided that lunch crowd and had a lovely lunch at Saugatuck Brewing Company (conveniently located about halfway between Cranes and Phoenix in the Dunes). Another afternoon, we drove about 8 minutes to the Saugatuck State Park and hiked through the woods to the lake. We also made several short walks from the house to the lake where the kids played on the beach. I definitely recommend this house. For us, the only drawback...and this is being very picky...is that the house is up high with dropoffs all around, which means there's no yard for the kids to go out and play in. Obviously, there is plenty of other awesome outdoor fun to be had though. Also, Elizabeth was really great to work with leading up to our stay and provided all the information we needed to feel comfortable in the house. She was very responsive to all my questions and easy to deal with as far as payment, keys, etc. If you're thinking about staying here, DO IT!"
