  • Lake House

"Had a great experience on Morrison Lake. The owner took us on a tour of the home when we arrived. The home had plenty of room for the four of us and also was great for entertaining large groups for dinner! The lake had a sand bottom and was shallow for the kids to swim in. We had fun on the paddleboat and went fishing on the motor boat a few times. Overall great experience and we would love to do it again!"

  • Repeat Guests. Love it!

"This is the second time we have stayed at the condo (two Christmases in a row), and we just love it. It really is the perfect location to downtown Pentwater, the beach, Cenzos grocery, and our relatives' house in the village proper. We have found that the space is also much more useful than houses we have rented in the area. The living space and bedrooms are spacious, and the sleeping spaces are separated enough that everyone can be comfortable, rather than cramped. The views, being on the top floor of the building, are fantastic. The owners are also prompt, friendly, and gracious. They even put out Christmas lights and a tree for us in the condo, because we were staying over Christmas! 5 enthusiastic stars!"

  • Old country cottage feel with all the modern amenities.

"Very charming old cottage. Lovely country feel. Everything that you could possibly need was provided. From plentiful blankets, linens and pillows to board games and movies for the kids. Huge flat screen tv with wifi and cable for those days when you decide to stay in, but why would you want to. Wonderful fire pit in back yard as well as bbq grilling on the deck and dining area on deck as well as front porch. Close to State Park and beach which was perfect for us. Owners were very responsive with any issues that came up. This place took me back in time to Summer's of my youth. It was great to be able to share that with my grandkids! Thank you Julie and Tim for sharing your cottage with us."

  • Fabulous "Sandcastle on the hill"

"From the very beginning of searching and inquiring about rentals, Pat's communication with me was great. The house sits at the end of the street so there is really only one close house neighbor on the one side. We rented this lovely home for bringing in the New Year with friends of ours. Our expectations were exceeded when we noticed how fully stocked and clean this house was. It really has just about all you need for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. This is an older home that has been updated nicely for the layout. The home decor is fantastic. The living room was equipped with a gas fireplace that we used our entire visit. The dining area has a huge eight seat table. The kitchen has newer appliances and has everything you need for cooking and the fridge has an ice maker. The eat in kitchen has bar stools for the counter and a small table that we used for euchre. All this overlooks the park and channel of Lake Michigan with a wall of windows. The master bedroom is off the kitchen and it is a nice size. The bed is absolutely huge. There is no tv in this room. The attached bathroom is large and the shower pressure is grrrreat. The laundry room is off of that and it is equipped with nice and new appliances, complete with detergent, softener sheets and stain spray. We did a few loads of laundry during our visit. The upstairs has no bathroom so our pals that slept upstairs had to come down to the main bath that is off the kitchen. This is a cute bathroom and actually backs up to the opposite side of master bedroom but we didn't have any issues with sound while they took showers. The bedrooms upstairs do not have tvs. Our pals said they slept comfortably. The downstairs/converted garage has a full bath, a sitting area with an additional full size fridge and a separate bedroom with a bunk bed, two twins and a flat screen TV. All perfect for the kiddos or adults that want privacy. There are a lot of stairs so I would not recommend for people that may have issues. The outdoor area has multiple decks that would be great for warmer months to hang out on. The hot tub, we can't forget the hot tub. We absolutely got our use out of it. Ahhhhhhhh... The smaller back yard has a firepit, picnic table and lawn chairs. Overall, this place was great and the little touches are really appreciated that the owners have put into it for renters to enjoy. We definitely want to come back again. Feel confident with booking this for your next getaway! Thanks again, Pat!"
