Recent Twin Lake reviews

"It was perfect! When we arrived the only thing we needed to do was unpack and relax in this very clean, comfortable house that is situated beautifully on a sand dune over looking the lake. We had our own private beach with chairs all ready for us to just chill out. At night we could hear the waves from our bedroom. The pictures do not do it justice. Thank you for an awesome place to stay and really relax. I'm glad we booked in August 2017 already."

  • Great House & Perfect Location

"The house was clean and nicely decorated. It was very well stocked with ALL that we needed (dishes, cups, paper towels, toilet paper, soap, etc...). Perfect location with a view of the channel in back. Great for sitting around the fire. There were a couple of beautiful swans that hung out in back most of the time we were there. The owners were very nice and accommodating. We had family over for dinner, so we needed additional seating. The owners had an extra table and chairs there for us. Also, the house was big enough that we weren't all on top of each other. We had a very enjoyable stay and hope to be back again soon."

  • Great Escape!

"We just returned from a four night stay in August. By the time I booked in Feb/March, only the two smaller cabins were left, but we were able to fit two families of 4-5 members each into each cabin. The cabins were very clean. AC unit in one and central air in the other. Paper towels, toilet paper, and a few dish towels, wash cloths and larger towels provided in a laundry basket. You could leave the basket out with dirty towels and a request for replenished paper products on Monday and Thursday. Lots of dishes and utensils provided. You can tell the owner, Jeff, and his family takes great pride in this property. Jeff lives onsite and can be seen often doing work around the grounds. Very friendly and talkative :). It looked like there were maybe two other family groups on the property at the same time, but it never felt crowded. There is a nice sized beach, lots of grassy areas for the kids to run and play and a "game garage" complete with bikes of all sizes (bring helmets), foosball, shuffleboard and a few other things. Water smelled a little funny (maybe just because we are city folk!) Water pressure and temperature were good. We drank bottled water. Meijer is just off the main expressway about 10 min down the road. There is a mom and pop corner store a two minute walk if you need pop, chips, etc. but I wouldn't do big shopping there. Bring your own fishing poles. There were canoes and kayaks to use and some provided sand toys, noodles and a few inflatables. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return!"

  • Luxurious lakeshore getaway

"If you have a large group, or want plenty of room for your family to spread out, this place is for you. And with multiple bedrooms, bathrooms and full kitchens both upstairs and down, there is plenty of space for everyone. We were impressed with how clean everything was, too. Morning sun spills in through the bank of windows overlooking the lake, making the large upstairs living room a great place to enjoy your coffee as you watch the sunrise. Outdoor space is great for the kids to play and explore, or take the path down to the beach area, with dock and diving board and large grassy area. We would definitely stay here again."
