  • Fun Vacation

"We stayed here to spend time with our grandchildren. Two 8 year olds and one 5. They all loved fishing off the dock. We spent hours doing that and caught so many fish! They all enjoyed swimming and going out in the paddle boat. Very private place, which we really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Also close enough to town to run in and not take so long. The cabin was very nice and clean. Plenty of room for all of us. We only had a couple problems...nothing major. We couldn't get the drain in the bathtub to work and we did run out of hot water taking showers at night. We enjoyed our time here and booking was so nice and easy. Karen was very nice and got back to us right away. We would definitely recommend this place."

  • Relaxing and Fun Stay

"My girlfriend and I stayed for 3 nights this past weekend. We have an awesome and relaxing time! The cabin is ideally located very near Nisswa and not a far drive from Pequot Lakes, Brainerd, Breezy Point, and Cross Lake. There is a ton of great stuff to do in the area, the cabin is very nice, and well appointed. We also enjoyed visiting with the extremely nice owners and their adorable Black Lab puppy. :-) We'd love to go back!"

  • Great Week On Cross Lake

"This was our 2nd visit to Peaceful Pines. Quick review of our stay; it was fantastic. The cabin & grounds were in perfect condition upon arrival. The cabin is fully equipped from kitchen cooking & outdoor grilling gear to relaxing. The beach area is excellent as is the dock system & boat lift. Location makes walking to town for dining or groceries a 10 minute stroll. Due to being located on the east side of the lake, you can watch the sun set every evening directly across the lake. Peaceful Pines is a great place to visit for a summer vacation whether you are young or old. I am looking forward to our visit next summer. RDP"

  • Wonderful cabin!

"We stayed at Fred's cabin this summer with three families-total of 10 people and the space worked out very well! Plenty of room for six adults and four children! This is not on the water, but close access to the lake! This actually worked out better for us so that we didn't have to worry about the kids running freely around the property! A simple walk to the Grand View Lodge! The kids loved the facilities such as the pool on their down time and we made smores in the firepit one night! Playground also available and games! We decided to rent our own boat for three days and Fred let us use his boat dock so that was awesome that we could come and go as we wanted! We went tubing...being from Texas the water in August was extremely cold but the kids got used to it:) Saw the bears up in Orr (4 hours away)..a true Minnesota experience! Fred was wonderful! We even had family from all areas of MN come down on our last day for a small family reunion. About 30 people total! My kids and nephews cant stop talking about our trip to MN as their favorite so far! And trust me my children have been to some of the most beautiful beaches...yet this was there favorite and one of mine too!:)"
