  • Great place with awesome lake access!!!

"Loved this cabin on the lake -- it has all the amenities and everything you need for a cabin stay on the lake. It is very clean and well maintained. The owner is really nice and informative for questions we had. The large screened in porch is a huge plus - we had our morning coffee and evening meals there and were able to watch our pooches play in the lake. The flat yard layout out to the dock was great for sitting around the fire at night and being right near the water. The water was very clear as well as you could sit on the dock and see all of the sunnies swimming by. The lake itself is not too busy and very enjoyable for boating. The neighbors were also very pleasant. My husband and I would highly recommend this place and definitely plan on going back :-)"

  • Great beachfront cabin location!

"Perfect setup from sleeping to kitchen/dining to rec space. Screened in porch was great for storing our fishing and beach gear/beverages. Boat lift was necessary feature. To top it off we had excellent weather on a superb lake!"

  • Quaint Roomy Cabin, Great Value!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this cabin. It was obvious that the owners had put a lot of love and effort into creating a place that was warm and inviting. We really liked how the cabin was decorated, especially some of the small touches, ie: the antler paper towel holder, the old sleds and skis on the wall of the porch, and the modern updates to the kitchen and guest bathroom were noticeable and wonderful! The washer & dryer was a bonus and came in handy mid-week. We chose the front bedroom because it had one whole wall of windows so we could wake up in the morning to a beautiful view of the lake. PS: We have never heard or seen so many loons! The yard on the lakeside was probably our favorite place. The cabin is situated just above the lake, which made for great views. There are some stairs leading down to the dock, probably less than one flight, which we found totally manageable even carrying coolers and gear. There wasn't a designated beach area, and up near the shore, there were some small rocks, but just a little further out, the bottom was hard and sandy and the water was very clear. You could swim off the dock, or easily find a place on the lake to pull up and swim. The entire lake chain was sandy, and the water clarity was incredible! We looked forward to sitting in the swing overlooking the lake each night to watch the sunsets. The swing faced directly west and was hidden behind some big trees for privacy from the neighbors. We made use of the fire-pit almost every night we were there, and were able to grill and eat on the outdoor table on the stone patio one night. We biked into town and visited some of the antique shops, and had lunch one day at Andy’s Bar & Grill. We spent a lot of time on the pontoon boat which was provided, even when it rained and the wind was blowing. We explored all the lakes (14 of them I think), pulled up on a sandbar for a picnic, did some fishing (we caught a 36-1/2” Northern), ate at the Wharf restaurant right on the water, and stopped at the Manhattan Beach Lodge for a visit to the Tiki Hut where the owner's friend Darryl mixed us up a couple of long island iced teas. We sipped our drinks while sitting in a couple of Adirondack chairs as we gazed out at the lake - so nice! Overall, we had a wonderful time. There were a few housekeeping issues that the owners helped us with when we arrived, and some others that we shared with them that they assure us will be taken care of in the very near future."

  • The Right Place If You Love the Lake

"This was a beautiful place to stay with amazing views of the lake from each and every room. There are some steps to navigate to get down to the cabin but if you don't mind some steps, you could not ask for a more charming house on the lake. Each room is decorated with wonderful detail. Very comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen contributed to a wonderful few days at the lake for our family get together. We left the windows open at night and the sound of the waves will lulled us to sleep. If you like to be near the water, you cannot do better!"
