  • Gorgeous Cabin With Great Lake Views

"We stayed here as a group of 9 and a newborn from Saturday 7/2/2016 to Tuesday 7/5/2016. The cabin is beautiful with amazing views of Mille Lacs Lake, which is just across the road. We ended up staying back for the fireworks and the view was also up close and amazing. Town is 1 mile away and has a couple great restaurants; I definitely recommend Y Club and Lake Mille Lacs Pizza. The master bedroom is on the first floor and comes with a jacuzzi tub, which is great for those long days being outside. The owner was super nice and easy to work with, and I definitely recommend this cabin for those who are looking for a lot of space."

"What an amazing property! So much more that we could have asked for. Doug was great to work with and very attentive. There was plenty of room for our family and no lack of things to do here. This is a beautiful place on a beautiful lake. We had a great time here. Highly recommend!!!!"

  • Excellent Vacation Spot

"We had a wonderful stay. The weather was excellent, the house spacious and clean, and the fish cooperated. Well, they cooperated enough to at least allow us to have a fish fry on the last night of our stay. The lake was very clean, allowing the kids to enjoy watching the fish attack their bait. We used the paddle boat and pontoon, which provided a beautiful time on the water too. The kids loved the full playground set, as well. The house has everything that you will need for a great time away. Also, Richard and Judy were excellent to work with and I would recommend them very highly. Check it out!!"

  • Nice place for a big group

"The house was great - nice and big. We were a group of 12 women in our 30's, meeting for a reunion over Labor Day. Everybody has moved across the country by now, so we decided to meet for a weekend up north. There was plenty of room in the kitchen area for everybody to hang out and socialize while we made food together. The place is also pretty close to lots to do - within 20 minutes of a variety of choices (breweries, riding stable, town). It was a cooler weekend, so we didn't all go swimming, but note that it's weedy close to the dock (just as you'd expect though, most MN lakes have conservation ordinances preventing people from making beaches). It was nice though - the water was refreshing. Plus, we didn't run out of hot water even though we had that many women! I suppose the one knock I've got about it is the rental process. Sherry is very sweet, and helpful with lots of ideas to do around town or on the lake, but there were clearly some trust issues there. She just kept asking what we were going to be doing the whole time, and insisted on coming by to check us in even after I told her once we got there that it was a straightforward place, it looked great, no questions. She ended up coming to the house on Saturday afternoon (well into our stay) and the check in process was her showing me the stuff that's already clearly written on the contract, check-in document, and notes around the house. It came across as nosy, and it was a disruption to our vacation, so I'm sour about that. I assume she just wants to make sure people are having fun, but she inserted herself too strongly into our private time. She asked why we were getting together, what we were celebrating, what we were planning on doing.. a bunch of times. I assume she wasn't satisfied by my answers. She kept asking, which is where that snoopy feeling came from. It was like she wanted every detail, like she was trying to approve our plans or something strange. To end on a good note though, we all had a great time. We stuck around the house for the most part, made our own food, and really got a chance to relax and have fun by the lake. The open format of the kitchen/dining/living area was really nice. One night we went over to Zorbaz, which is the perfect raucous townie bar/restaurant you could ask for. Food, lots of space, impressive selection of local and MN beer on tap. Overall we enjoyed ourselves on our stay!"
