  • Great Visit!

"I would highly recommend Townhouse #7. We have kids and a fisherman and it fit our family. The property supplied everything we needed for a great visit. It was clean, easy to find and the owners were delightful to work with."

  • Nicer then expected

"I did not read the entire description well enough and was surprised to find that we had garage access to the basement part with the owners up stairs. It was not bad and it worked out better then expected. Whenever there was an issue, he was able to fix it right away and he was very helpful. In the itemized description it says that it sleeps 12, but in the written description it says up to 10. There are enough beds for 10. The photos of the pool room doesn't do it justice much nicer then expected. It was a great weekend as we were there for a work gathering and being on the Mississippi River was very nice."

  • Great for groups!

"I stayed here for a fitness retreat last summer. It was an amazing and perfect place for 15 people to stay comfortably. The owner was very easy to work with and was very organized. The lake was really nice, with a great dock area and plenty of water toys to play with."

  • Laketime!

"As we drove down the gravel road, we didn't know what to expect. then we walked around the cottage to the huge deck, and there was a beautiful view of the lake! and that is where we spent a wonderful week. We ate all our meals on the deck and enjoyed the cottage paddle boards and our boat that we kept tied to the dock, The pole barn was a fun break for ping pong and scooter riding for our 2 year old granddaughter. The bunkhouse was a perfect spot for our growing family to stay, We cooked marshmellows at the fire pit which is built in the rocks on shore, and enjoyed the moon rise over the lake. The lake is very clean and deep, and a good size to tour around. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching boats go by, The master bedroom is very big and the bathroom is too. The kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of cupboards and easy to work in. The living room is small and the furniture is really cute, but we found it uncomfortable, but the weather was perfect for being on the deck. We did get into Annandale for some shopping in the shops on the main street. and got some groceries at a nice grocery store and an great meat market, Petty Brothers, which has a large selection of gourmet brats! We LOVED our week at the Blue Heron Cottage!"
