  • Beautiful lakeside home in rural Minnesota, but still reasonably close to the city!

"The property had all the amenities as promised to us. It is located in rural Minnesota but still really close to a decent size town and not too far from Minneapolis if you wanted to drive in for the day as we did. The lake home was children friendly as my niece and nephews loved the toys and slide as seen in the pictures. We would definitely stay again if we traveled to Minnesota!"

  • Nice gathering place for the family

"This was suburban nice. Our favorite thing was taking walks around the lake (approximately 3 miles around) daily! The trail is outside the back door, and you go from the suburban to the urban feel right away. Perhaps that's Minnesota?! The house was fairly clean; the kitchen stocked well for our multi-family gatherings; the kitchen-dining area large. We were outside or at events, so didn't spend time in the downstairs TV room. We did laugh at the small size of the upstairs "living room", 2 couches facing each other. We had PLENTY of options for people to spread out and have their own space, which is nice for 10 people. The owner is nice, a man of few words, which made me nervous because i'm only used to chatty "Minnesota-nice" folks. But when we talked on the phone, he answered our questions which helped. There are a LOT of rules, which made me nervous, but respectfully, it is in a nice neighborhood. We found ourselves driving approx 30-45 min to the University, airport and other events, so centrally placed. Short drive to good stores, which is helpful for traveling. I would recommend it."

  • Great place - Ben was very accommodating to any needs we had while we were staying at the cabin.

"Cabin had everything we needed/wanted. Very clean, close to Twin Cities, so nice to have access to paddleboard and kayaks right out of the door. Would recommend."

  • Fantastic Experience, Fabulous Trip

"I spoke with the owner prior to renting this property and he was very helpful in explaining the area and the houses amenities. He was always available to answer questions or offer tips on things to do in the area. The house is very nice and offers a great "flow". The kitchen is well appointed and easy to work in. The appliances are top notch. The bedrooms and beds were all comfortable and all the toiletry items/towels/pots/pans were high quality. The house it self offered high tech features from the new HVAC system, a keyless entry system and Wi-Fi to premium cable in every bedroom and the living room. That being said, who wanted to be inside watching TV? We were outside most of the time fishing and swimming or enjoying the fire pit. We also enjoyed watching all the gorgeous boats travel past the house. It is a no wake zone which is on the way to a public access marina and we saw so many beautiful and unique boats go by all day long. My kids called it "a boat parade". We rented a boat which was very convenient and easy to do. Downtown Wayzata was a quick drive, or even quicker boat ride away and offered great shopping and exceptional dining options. It was an "up north" experience which was in close proximity to a "West Palm Beachish" atmosphere. We had a great time and we look forward to returning."
