  • A Slice of Heaven

"My family and I stayed at this beautiful historic log home for a week and it just was not long enough. It felt like a slice of heaven. The property is so inviting and even more beautiful than the pictures. The beach area was perfect for swimming or lounging. There was plenty of space inside and out for the whole family to enjoy a week long vacation. The glassed in porch was the best place to relax in the evenings playing games, reading, and telling stories. It doesn't get any better than waking up to a lake breeze and the sound of the loons calling! We spent most of our days fishing, swimming, boating, Kayaking, and taking in the beauty of Leech Lake. There may have also been a couple of trips into Walker to shop at the boutiques. The owners are great to work with and I would definitely recommend staying at the Leech Lake Log Home!"

  • Charming, Clean and Cozy

"We loved our long weekend at the Storefront in Grand Marais. This cute little spot had everything we needed to enjoy our north shore getaway. Situated at the heart of downtown, right across from the lake, we were within walking distance to everything that Grand Marais had to offer. The Gunflint Trail is only a short drive away and when the weather wouldn't cooperate, we loved our time indoors, ESPECIALLY the amazing vinyl collection. Bonus that they allow pets and our dog could come along for the adventure. We would definitely book again!"

  • Very clean and nicely located.

"The house was a very spacious and cute home only ine mile from downtown. The owners were very easy to work with and made you feel at home. I would definitely rent this home again due to how nice and helpful the Wades were and how much fun this area of Duluth is."

  • Remote location -

"The house is impressive. Everything functioned well. Couple of notes for future renters If you have a large group plan on supplying your own plates, cups, and utensils. Plenty of cook ware, just light on settings for meals. Very limited glass ware. Snowmobilers - You are 6 miles from trails heads. Plan on trailering."
