  • A beautiful, serene, and welcoming property!

"We enjoyed a relaxing (but too brief!) summertime visit to the Horizon house. This is a beautiful, serene, and welcoming property. We found it to be a great base for exploring the region and appreciated learning more about its special history, as well. Thanks to the Owners for the timely responses to our inquiries, the very helpful info provided, and for allowing us to share in those stunning Lake Superior sunrises! Safe to say the area and Horizon have four very happy new converts!"

  • Everything it says it is

"Beautifully furnished, architecturally interesting, perfect for six people. We wer a group that likes to cook for ourselves, and we turned out some great dinners with the full kitchen. Enough space for a quiet afternoon of reading on a rainy day for all six of us. Convenient to all the hiking and canoeing we wanted to do, quick access to Lutsen store. I'll be back."

  • A great Duluth area home

"A very cozy & comfortable house with 3 nice sized bedrooms, a shaded backyard, a nice and modern bathroom and a very functional & well equipped kitchen. We stayed during a heat wave so the central air conditioning was greatly appreciated. It is close to the Canal Park area for restaurants and shopping and also just a short trip to our favorite spot, Amnicon Falls Park, just outside of Superior, Wisconsin."

  • Great vacation spot. Close to many things to do.

"We stayed 7 nights at this cozy cabin. Perfect location on the shore of Lake Superior. We took many day trips and most were within 30 minutes of the cabin. Drove the nearby trails (even saw a wolf), many places to eat south to Grand Marais or north to Grant Portage. LOTS to do close by. Or just hanging at the cabin was great too. Campfire on the rocky beach. Great place to take a walk and follow the Flute Reed river. I would highly recommend this cabin. Nothing fancy but very cozy."
