  • Great retreat

"My family spent an awesome week at this cabin. The beach and water are every bit as beautiful as they are in the photos. Our daughters enjoyed the beach as well as splashing around in the sandy shallows. We even caught two teeny fish from off the dock! The cabin has huge picture windows and depending on which seat you choose, you will have a beautiful view of the big yard and lake, or the birch-laden woods. I spent every morning with my coffee cup enjoying the woods and the many birds, butterflies and chipmunks that visited the property. We also saw loons, deer, and a porcupine during our week in the area. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfy and plentiful, and the cabin has heaters to cozy it up for the couple of chilly mornings we encountered. There was also a trail we found down the road from the cabin (called Ski Trail Road on Google) that was equally beautiful for a hike or drive through the woods. Rick and Deena were wonderful hosts, checking in and offering tips when needed. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of games on the screen porch for the rainy day we had while we were there. Overall, this is just a great spot! Highly recommended."

  • New favorite place on the North Shore

"Loved this beautiful townhouse. It's in a great location in Beaver Bay...easy to find and convenient. The weather wasn't good for us, but I was very glad to be staying in such a comfortable home. Jo has done a great job of decorating; everything in the townhouse is of excellent quality. She's also incredibly organized so nothing was unclear or difficult to find. We used the pool and sauna...just a few steps from the front door. They were very nice. Wifi was excellent. Lemon Wolf Café up the street was a great dinner spot. Fabulous, relaxing short trip for us. We'll be back!"

  • Spectacular scenery with Charming accommodations

"We were so fortunate to have discovered this vacation home! It was so charming - an idyllic North Shore cabin! Very clean and spacious too. Lutsen and surrounding towns are wonderful. The food, shopping, scenery and outdoor activities are second to none. We especially enjoyed Hughies Tacos and Cook County Whole Foods Cafe in Grand Marais and Moguls Grille & Tap Room in Lutsen. We were very impressed with the skiing at Lutsen Mountain as well. We are already planning our next stay and are excited to share it with our children this time too."

  • Great experience

"The house was everything it advertises and more. The house is very well laid out and well maintained. It was perfect for Our family of 4 (two little boys) and our grandfather. The location is perfect, a nice blend of a quiet neighbor and still great access to downtown. The beach was great and the kayaks were an added bonus. We hope to come back"
