  • Private cabin on a crystal clear chain of lakes

"My family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) thoroughly enjoyed this cabins privacy, lakeshore beauty, and the Wabana chain of lakes. We stayed a week and filled our days in the yard, swimming, boating, fishing, evening fires, grilled meals on the Weber, Tall Timber days parade, pasties in Grand Rapids to name a few. The lake chain is very clear and nice for swimming, boating, fishing and even fish right off the dock for the kids. We were also allowed to bring our dog along for an extra nominal fee and needless to say she thoroughly enjoyed the lake as well. The cabin is as described, fairly cozy, but ample for the 4 of us and nicely finished. To note, it's probably 30 min drive to Grand Rapids which has all amenities one could need."

  • Very nice house

"We enjoyed our time at the property, snowmobile trail access could be troublesome with low snow conditions."

  • Great spot for the whole family!

"We rented this house from 7/2/16 - 7/9/16 and had a blast. The home has all the living facilities on one level and had more than enough room for my wife, our two kids (ages 3 and 11 months) and my wife's parents. The layout is very nice for two families or extended families as it has two separate "wings" where the bedrooms are located. The layout would be perfect if there was another private bathroom by the south "wing" bedrooms (which are connected). The home was well stocked and everything worked (including the wifi which was great to have). The beach is sandy and we had fun catching frogs and crayfish. The boat house is great to store beach toys and fishing gear. We had a lot of fun on the paddleboat, too. My in-laws brought their pontoon and the water was too low to launch it from the private launch on our arrival, however, we were able to use the private launch to take the boat out of the water. The deck is multi-level and it would be nice to have a big flat deck. The screen porch was wonderful for having meals and enjoying views of the lake. The fishing was very good even right off the dock. We caught sunnies, crappies, bass, and a northern right off the dock. It is secluded from tourist traps and neighbors, which is what we were looking for, but there are restaurants and stores a short drive away. It rained near the end of our stay, which made the ground near the beach very wet (large puddles and spongy ground) and filled the fire pit with water rendering it unusable. That was the only downside we experienced. We would definitely stay again, it is a great family destination!"

  • Wonderful!!

"We had a perfect week here!! The house was comfortable and we had plenty of room for our crew. The kitchen had everything I needed and more. Location was beautiful... Quiet and peaceful. My 20 month old grandson had a blast on the beach and playing in the water. We enjoyed the canoes and the beauty of the lake. Everything was perfect including the weather!! I have been using VRBO for years and this is best rental I've ever had. Thanks Mike!! We would love to come back!"
