  • We were very impressed with the cabin.

"The cabin was beautiful and the outdoor property was excellent, we could not have asked for a better place to stay, this was perfect in every way and the care takers across the road were awesome. They gave us a tour of the place, and Jason brought a tractor bucket of free wood over for us twice during our stay, and anything that we needed they promptly took care of. I wouldn't hesitate to go back there again it was a very relaxing vacation for the whole family. We absolutely loved it."

  • Excellent Cabin - The Best of Both Worlds

"My family (4 adults, 2 teenagers, and 2 kids) stayed at this cabin for a week in June and it was amazing. We also rented a pontoon from the resort for the week as well. The cabin was very clean, very well stocked, and had very nice furniture. To me this is the best of both worlds, you have the privacy and seclusion of a private cabin, fire pit, and dock, but a short walk lets you take advantage of all of the great amenities at the resort (boats, pool, swimming beach & toys, game room, fishing bait, food (including homemade caramel rolls & made to order pizza for those times you don't want to cook), etc.). The lake was the perfect size to me with several different parts to the lake and a long shoreline, but not too big in any one spot nor was it so small that it was boring. The lake shape allowed for excellent boating and fishing no matter what the weather was - if it was rough (from weather) or busy (from skiers) on the main part of the lake you can easily go to another section of the lake and have calm waters and privacy. Even with the fishing being off due to weather during our stay, we were still able to catch a number of fish (sunfish, several species of bass, and a muskie), including a bunch right off the dock. The kids really enjoyed the momma duck and her baby that visited us often as well as the turtles laying eggs in the front yard. My family had plenty to do between the lake, fire pit, resort amenities, hiking on the trails, and shopping in near by towns. The owners were great to work with and clearly take pride in their property and creating a positive experience for the vacationers. This is well worth the drive if you don't want to put up with the hustle and bustle of the Nisswa area like us - you won't be sorry!"

  • Beautiful location ~ Excellent host!

"We met up with family at this lovely, secluded location for a very enjoyable vacation. The well appointed kitchen was perfect for preparing large meals to enjoy with the group who gathered for fun at the lake. Roasting marshmallows at the lakeside fire pit was fun for all. I will certainly return as soon as possible (and bring along our grandkids). As Montanans, we are not used to fishing from a boat, so it was a change for our family! The fishing was excellent and the pontoon was fun! Love the canopy of trees as you enter into this well taken care of home. Thanks Brian and Tim!"

  • A wonderful cabin will be back!

"The cabin and area are right out of a storybook. Cabins have saunas are private. Plenty of firewood available and they are clean and well kept. The three days we spent were extremely relaxing and a great getaway from the rush of city life. Wish I could have stayed for a whole week. Definitely will come back!"
