  • A Great Week at Diamond Cove

"My family and I just returned from a week at Diamond Cove. We would go back. The cabin was clean and everything was in working order. We met the owners upon our arrival and they were very welcoming. I spent the week fishing for muskies and was able to land three in that time (many more follows and a couple of lost opportunities). The cabin is nicely located and one can be casting for muskies in short order. It is also nice and close to Moosebirds (ice cream run) and The Landing (burgers). The boathouse was perfect as it kept things nice and dry. Thanks for a great week."

  • Great time, can't wait to go again next year.

"Brought my family (wife, kids 10 and 8) up and we had an amazing time. I was pleased to be able to launch my boat from right there on the property, and there was MORE than enough room to park my truck and trailer. The cabin was clean and quaint, you really got the sense that the details were being handled; the freezer and refrigerator while clearly not brand new, certainly looked like they had been cleaned and sanitized. We were pleased with the cleanliness throughout the cabin, but my wife is crazy about a clean kitchen and it was really reassuring to see her happy with the whole situation. Lake Vermillion is incredible. The waters and nature are amazing and clean. We enjoyed both quiet nights by the secluded fire pit, and also boating to the variety of bars and restaurants around the lake. The last night we were there I fell asleep out by the fire and woke to the calming crush of the waves on the lake. It was heaven on earth and I can't wait to go back."

  • Worth Every Penny!

"We needed a get-a-way for a chance to enjoy a bit of summer while we still could. We needed a place where we could relax and reconnect, somewhere quiet, with nature and a private swimming and campfire area, and able to accommodate/occupy a 3-yr old and our family dog, Ginger. To say this place did the trick would be an understatement. The setting, the amenities, the owner, Holly, - all met our every need. Oh, and that hottub!! We've stayed at many other places that were very nice, but this is the whole package! We could have easily stayed several more days and will plan to do so next time! This was easily worth every penny!"

  • Perfect Getaway!

"We had a great time and the home met all of our needs! It is close to Tower and we were able to bike and tour the Soudan Mine. It was great to have access to the kayaks and canoe as we spent one morning kayaking, canoeing, and boated to one of the restaurants for lunch. We were able to have camp fires at night and the decks are great to enjoy coffee every morning with the sunrise. We spent time in Ely - less than 1/2 hr. away. There are ample beds for a large group! We would definitely recommend Bart's home on Lake Vermilion!"
