  • Can't be beat!

"We knew a hotel room likely wouldn't be big enough or provide kitchen accommodations. This condo was huge and in a great location on canal park. It provides the accoutrements of the attached hotel and has an incredible view of the William A Irving ship. If your on the fence you won't find anything else like it."

  • Comfortable, cozy, relaxing, refreshing!

"Superior Solitude was the perfect getaway! We were just far enough from it all to "unplug" yet close enough to town/hiking trail when we felt like getting out. The home was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a smooth stay. Bed was quite comfy. The night air was cool and quiet and the only sounds were of the waves lapping the shore. Our pups came with and enjoyed swimming along the shoreline and drying off on the enormous deck where there was always a sunny spot. We did not need to contact our hosts, but their numbers were readily available. Grand Marais is a quick drive up the road (13 miles). Try the APA at Voyager Brewing if you go (and they are dog-friendly). Highly recommend Superior Solitude!"

  • 100th Birthday Celebration and Reunion

"This was a fantastic place to hold the celebration of my mothers 100th Birthday and a family reunion of both my wife and my family. The weather for this day was just perfect, mid to high 80's. Later in the week we did have 2 inches of snow on the ground when we awoke but such is life in Northern Mn. We had 30 people (a mixture of 23 adults and & 7 kids) at the reunion party. We were able to accommodate everybody easily with plenty to do (lawn games, lake stuff and indoor games as well all supplied with the rental). We had sleeping space for 10 adults with room left over. The house came supplied with everything we could possibly have needed. The location was a bit remote but the lake view was terrific. We loved hearing the loon calls. All in all this was a fantastic week. We recommend this rental to any and all. We couldn't have found a better place. When we had a minor problem, Jeremiah responded promptly. Communications with the owner were quick and helpful."

  • Awesome beach rental!

"My family and I were very impressed with this rental! clean and right on the beach! we really enjoyed the deck above the garage with awesome views of the lake! There we three couples on our trip and it was so nice to each have our own bedroom and bathroom! Lots of lounging space as well. We walked to dinner every night and enjoyed watching the oar boats come in under the lift bridge. Didn't realize how close we would be to all the shops and restaurants which was a nice surprise! We would definetly come back here and recommend to other duluth visitors! Gerry was very helpful with all our questions which was appreciated as well!"
