  • Fantastic views on a quiet lake!

"We had a great time, the lake and property are beautiful, the photos don't really do the lakefront justice. Definitely a great place if you want to get away for a quiet vacation. The property and "cabin" were very well maintained, and it seems like it is still being improved. Tyler was very attentive and clearly wanted to make sure everything went well with our stay. It's very close to the Masabi bike trail, which is very well maintained and easy to get to (you can buy a pass at the Sinclair station in town). You can ride a long distance if you want, but we just visited the neighboring towns of Nashwauk and Calumet, where you can take a tour of the Hill Annex Mine. We'd definitely come back, maybe with a canoe to explore the lake!"

  • Amazing place to stay!

"A group of 8 came up to snowmobile in the area and were so impressed with the accommodations, I don't think we can say enough about the home. It was such a nice surprise when we got there to have a box of candy waiting for us what a wonderful touch. We could easily get onto the lake and meet up with the trail system. The owners and manager were wonderful to work with, we would defiantly return again. Thank you."

  • The property inside and outside was neat, clean, well adored and decorated.

"This is our second experience at the J. J. Taylor house, which was as pleasant as the first with all the amenities and comfort of a home. We enjoyed the location, which is close to downtown Hibbing activities and walking distance to many historic sites such as the current city hall, which was a court house, and the Hibbing High School. The rooms were well stocked, clean, smartly decorated, and comfortablely home like. We were pleasantly surprised with the well stocked kitchen, linen closets, and bathrooms."

  • A lot of house for the money....

"Large, beautiful, quiet house on a secluded lake that was amazing. Very relaxing place to spend some time. Clean, very well maintained. The gas fireplace on the back screened in porch was sure a fun way to spend an evening. Took the kayaks around the lake for a beginners ride and it is a perfect lake for this kind of adventure. A large group or just a few could be comfortable here. Don't pass this place up if you are looking for a get-away......Adam is great to work with."
