  • another great time at the Bon Aire

"This is the third time we stay with my family at the Bon Aire, and it will definitely not be the last one. It was a gorgeous November weekend by Lake Superior, and we enjoyed everything the Bon Aire has to offer; amazing lake views, outdoor fire, relaxing atmosphere, and a extremely comfortable house. We will be back soon!!!"

  • 1 year anniversary stay

"My husband and I stayed here for our one year anniversary. Despite the weather, we had a perfect weekend. The town home is cute, clean, spacious - there is a fully stocked kitchen (even nice big wine glasses and coffee mugs!). We cooked some meals in, and dined out for a few at nearby restaurants. There's plenty of hiking around - and Grand Marais is only an hour drive. There's movies and games for the cold weather - and of course the jacuzzi overlooking the lake, and the sauna and pool right across the parking lot. It was the perfect weekend getaway, and we can't wait to go back!"

  • Two Harbors Cabin

"This affordable cabin was close to Two Harbors so very handy for going into town, but far enough to feel like you were out in the woods. Nice to be able to bring a dog to stay with us. We had a great time, did a lot of hiking on the Superior Hiking Trail. One recommendation, sleep sofa needs to be replaced, the springs were shot."

  • Perfect getaway!

"We booked the cabin for a surprise family get together for my dad's birthday. We had 6 adults and 2 teenagers and had plenty of comfortable beds. The kitchen was very well stocked ~ you only need to bring food. There were plenty of dishes, utensils and cooking gear. Everything was in excellent working order, it was clean and the towels were fluffy. Some of us enjoy a run in the morning and we were able to get in several miles along the gravel roads with minimal traffic. We felt safe and secluded but were within minutes from Duluth. We spent an afternoon hiking around Gooseberry Falls, which we would highly recommend. My kids had a great time on the trails and rocks and my family enjoyed an easy hike. Communication with the owner was prompt and clear. The only "negative" was the cleaning requirement before we left but we knew of the requirement ahead of time, there were plenty of supplies, we all pitched in and it didn't take long. We will definitely look into renting this cabin again for our next trip. Thank you!"
