  • Perfect 4th of July weekend!!

"We loved the property!! There were 3 adults and one child in our group. My Dad has been sick and said the weekend here helped him "heal". The house is beautiful as is the lake. We didn't have a boat but had a couple kayaks and a paddle board and it was perfect for us. We used the fire pit by the house each night and it was a perfect spot for smores! We will definitely be back!"

  • Wonderful Family Vacation

"This home and property are amazing!!! We spend a week here on our annual family vacation, and will for sure be booking it again next year. We had 15 people staying in the house aging from 4 to 85! The owner was great to work with, answered all the questions I had about the home. I had my 2 kids with me ages 4 and 6, they both wanted to stay longer than our week (they even asked if we could stay forever!) The beach was great for the kids to play on and the water was good for swimming. The pontoon was is wonderful condition and we used it often. The fishing was great, my 6 year old son caught a Northern and was so excited! The yard was perfect for our day of playing yard games!"

  • Beautiful View with a Sandy Lake Bottom

"We rented the Eide's upstairs unit for our honeymoon and had a really nice time. After planning a wedding in 3 months we just wanted a place to go shut off our brains and take it easy. It was a good place for that! The unit was very tidy and had most everything we needed for cooking (other than an oven). We spent the first afternoon laying out on the lawn reading. It's a wide open space great for games, or family gatherings. The neighbors came out to introduce themselves and chatted for a while. We fished off the dock and caught a few bass and pike. It's a very central location with plenty to do so we took a day and drove up to Itasca State Park, then headed back towards Brainerd another day. The lake water was clear as day with a really nice sandy bottom. A foot or so of rocky shoreline but it was no problem at all. They have a big fire pit which was really nice to sit around and watch the sun set and the moon rise over the lake. The view was unbeatable really. We would love to come back again and are grateful for the restful vacation. Side note: Paul Bunyan Land in Brainerd is not worth the $22 admission. Pirate's Cove Mini Golf in Nisswa was much more fun."

  • Great Great Away

"This place was great! Plenty of room for everyone, with plenty to do from the pool table to the patio to the fire pit. I would definitely suggest this place if you have a large group. Also, the bathrooms are newly updated with great showers."
