  • An Amazing Family Lake Home to Relax and Have Fun

"I began my vacation with an open mind and somewhat high expectations after seeing the beautiful pictures online and boy, were those expectations exceeded. Not only is this lake house stunning from the outside with its picturesque floor to ceiling windows looking over the breathtaking Pelican Lake, but the inside has a wonderful stylish yet lake-side living quirky decor that perfectly suited my vacation mindset. As stated by the previous reviewer, I also found the owner, Paul, to be highly helpful and accommodating. I was also extremely impressed with the cleaning services offered as well as the care and management undertaken by the owners to make sure my family and I had the best experience while living there. As a side note, I would also like to express my pleasure with the fact that the owners allow dogs. My dogs are truly a part of my family and for me to be allowed to have them with me on this wonderful vacation, was absolutely a blessing. I would highly recommend this beautiful lake and more importantly, this stunning lake home to any who wish to have not only a lovely place to eat, play, relax, and lay your head, but an enjoyable experience of renting a cottage as well."

  • Great place for families!

"If your looking for peaceful, restful, secluded rental on the lake this one is it! We had great fishing for kids off the dock, felt like we had no neighbors, beach and lake was sand and a nice relaxing 4th of July. Kids had their rooms on one side and we were on the other side. Cabin has everything you need including a washer and dryer! Will definitely go back!"

  • Nice getaway

"Stayed here with a few of my best friends. It was a nice cabin with an amazing view of the lake. Also only a 25 minute drive into town (Detroit Lakes) super convenient for any last minute items."

  • Peaceful 1940's Lodge

"I brought a group of 10 people to stay at The Aerie. The lodge is spacious and easily accommodated my group. The building was clean and well provisioned with modern kitchen appliances; after stopping at a grocery store nearby we were able to cook all our meals there. The owner is very responsive and easy to work with. The lodge is set far back from the road and the grounds are spacious and well kept. It's a great space for yard games. The lake is very quiet, with limited boat traffic it made for spectacularly serene sunsets. Couple of notes to be aware of: there is no fire pit and fires are not allowed on the property. There is no A/C in the building. We got lucky and stayed over a weekend where the humidity remained low, but we agreed that it would be difficult to sleep during the hottest weeks of summer."
