  • Quiet, comfortable setting with an amazing view of the legendary Ten Mile sunset!

"First of all I should mention that I've spent 40 summers at Ten Mile Lake along with my family. That being said I may be biased when it comes to the crystal clear waters of The Mile, however it was a new experience for me to stay at a rental property. Indisputably one of the most beautiful lakes in the state you won't be disappointed with all Ten Mile Lake has to offer. The property was clean & well maintained from the outside. There is a fire pit, and there are a few lawn chairs, a picnic table and small bistro set. Inside was neat & tidy awaiting our arrival. Plenty of large windows & ceiling fans. Both cabins had sliding glass doors in the front for a great view of the lake. The dock is a bit small but it served our purposes just fine i.e. fishing, swimming & tying up the boat. It's a small swimming area and the more it got used we had a nice sandy bottom, not rocky. We did not feel the need for water shoes. We spent the majority of our time on the lake swimming and fishing. We rode four wheelers as there are many trails for Atv's! Northern lights casino is a mere 5 minutes away and Walker MN is less than 15 min away. Can't beat the location and the family is planning our next vacation to Ten Mile!"

  • Wonderful cabin for a nice weekend away!

"Beautiful cabin with everything you could ever need on a weekend away! We stayed with our family of 6 and plenty of room for the kids to relax and have space to themselves and still have fun together out on the deck and hanging in the awesome hot tub:). Town was close by to get groceries and hang at the park when we wanted to get out and about! Beautiful view of the lake, we were there in early spring so too cool to go in water, but looks like tons of fun when it gets warm! Thanks for the great vacation away from work and school!"

  • A Slice of Heaven

"My family and I stayed at this beautiful historic log home for a week and it just was not long enough. It felt like a slice of heaven. The property is so inviting and even more beautiful than the pictures. The beach area was perfect for swimming or lounging. There was plenty of space inside and out for the whole family to enjoy a week long vacation. The glassed in porch was the best place to relax in the evenings playing games, reading, and telling stories. It doesn't get any better than waking up to a lake breeze and the sound of the loons calling! We spent most of our days fishing, swimming, boating, Kayaking, and taking in the beauty of Leech Lake. There may have also been a couple of trips into Walker to shop at the boutiques. The owners are great to work with and I would definitely recommend staying at the Leech Lake Log Home!"
