"We had the joy of staying in this amazing place in Walker, as we were heading up to Red Lake to do some ice fishing the next day. The owner Jay, is a true pleasure to work with and so friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He is willing to assist you with whatever your needs might be! As for this home, It's everything the pictures show it to be and more which was so much fun for my parents to stay in as it brought back lots of memories from all the fishing and hunting pictures to the old lures and even an old boat & motor downstairs. The house is so well decorated and furnished you will think of it as your home away from home! It was nice to be just 1 of the few houses even on the lake which we did try some ice fishing and lucked out catching a northern. It was a great place to land and would for sure recommend it for anybody looking for a great getaway! We will for sure be back again~ Keep up the good work Jay!"

"Love this place. Spent a week last June (2015) and back for a week in September. Returning this June (2016). Has everything you could want/need. Back in a bay, quiet and private, but can take a boat or pontoon ride to other side of bay and have a drink or nice meal at Deer Haven. Hubby is a die hard fisherman, out every morning before dawn and after dusk and we always go home with a nice catch of fish. No other lake we would rather be on."

"We stayed for an entire month and everything about it was great! The owner Greg - great guy who was eager to make sure we were comfortable and had the inside scoop on where the fish were biting. The cabin was very clean and well appointed with every kitchen gadget I could possibly ever need. The refrigerator and freezer were huge and minimized the need to go running for groceries. However, if you need groceries, liquor, bate, fudge or the occasional late night ice cream cone, Walker is only 3 miles away. We found the washer/dryer very convenient and rewashed laundry rather than hauling a bunch of clothes, etc. Beds were very comfortable, Greg said he had just updated them all, I could tell he spent good money on them as they were a treat after a long day of fishing. Enjoyed the beautiful deck and the many different colors of hummingbirds attracted to the feeder feet from the table and chairs. The marina was nice, fairly private, shared with only a few others and lit at night. We loved the Paul Bunyon Train and went for long walks on it each day - beautiful and only steps from the property. Excellent value, great family cabin, great guys fishing get away, great girls long weekend, etc. we had fun! By the end of the month we were calling it "home"."
