  • Perfect

"We stayed for an entire month and everything about it was great! The owner Greg - great guy who was eager to make sure we were comfortable and had the inside scoop on where the fish were biting. The cabin was very clean and well appointed with every kitchen gadget I could possibly ever need. The refrigerator and freezer were huge and minimized the need to go running for groceries. However, if you need groceries, liquor, bate, fudge or the occasional late night ice cream cone, Walker is only 3 miles away. We found the washer/dryer very convenient and rewashed laundry rather than hauling a bunch of clothes, etc. Beds were very comfortable, Greg said he had just updated them all, I could tell he spent good money on them as they were a treat after a long day of fishing. Enjoyed the beautiful deck and the many different colors of hummingbirds attracted to the feeder feet from the table and chairs. The marina was nice, fairly private, shared with only a few others and lit at night. We loved the Paul Bunyon Train and went for long walks on it each day - beautiful and only steps from the property. Excellent value, great family cabin, great guys fishing get away, great girls long weekend, etc. we had fun! By the end of the month we were calling it "home"."

  • Quiet family retreat

"Our family has stayed at this home for the past 7 years. It has been a wonderful gathering spot for us to meet for a week in the summer. It is difficult to find a place that accomadates 18+ people. The eight bedrooms and four bathrooms are very nice although for the price the bedspreads and curtains badly need to be updated...they haven't changed in the 7 years we have stayed there. The swimming pool is a nice added feature as the beach is averge at best. It isn't maintained the greatest and is overgrown with weeds. The best feature about this place is that it is quiet and the owners are nice to work with."

  • Needed to get away!

"We needed to get away and Lloyd's Landing was PERFECT!! So perfect in fact, we decided to squeeze in two more trips before winter sets in. The setting provided us with the peace and tranquility we were seeking. Along with gorgeous sunsets, starlit skis (this really reminded me of WY), the calls of loons, presence of eagles, cool breezes at night, dipping our feet into the warm lake off the dock at night, the FANTASTIC couch glider on the porch...I really could go on and on. The amenities in the cabin were perfect, we looked for nothing that we couldn't find. While our life, as are many others, tends to be hectic and busy, we are hopeful of returning for a longer stay next summer. If you are considering Lloyd's Landing, do not hesitate, you will not be disappointed!"

  • Great location to fish the river or lake

"We were very happy with the rental. Located in a quiet bay just off the river with everything you need inside. Not fancy, but we felt right at home. I asked about power to run on board charger and Curt strung power out to the end of the dock for us before we arrived. Nice floating dock to keep your boat fenders lined up to the dock boards & cleats. We would definitely stay here again. We didn't explore the area."
