  • Nice private setting on a beautiful Lake!

"We stayed at this property together as photography club. It worked out nicely for us since there was plenty of room to spread out. We did a lot of night photography and it was great having the choice of either the secluded lake or Itasca state park. Club members appreciated having so many choices nearby for what to see and do. We enjoyed having the fire pit as well as the large yard to explore. I overheard people saying they were definitely coming back with their families as this would work nice for those with large families. Me, I appreciated the quiet and the zero light pollution for my pictures. Oh- and a few of our club members also remarked that they had never seen the milky way so clearly before."

  • Seclusion At It's Finest!

"If you're looking for relaxation or a place to take the family for a fun time : look no further! My wife and I spent a week enjoying it's comforts. The lodge is very secluded, but actually within minutes of a small town ( in case you need anything!). There's a very good chance you'll see many types of birds, some deer, and other harmless small animals. Boating, hiking, outdoor games : you name it. The lodge itself is amazing and very well kept. Just about everything you'll need is already there. And plenty of movies if you want to be a couch potato... plus the WiFi works very well. If you like fishing, bring your gear. Either from a boat or off the dock is spectacular. Many bluegills and crappies of various sizes : plus a bonus largemouth or northern might surprise you! The Lady Slipper Lodge is one of the nicest places you'll visit, and probably won't want to leave. Tony is an excellent owner and makes sure your stay is a pleasant and memorable one."

  • Wonderful family vacation

"The memories we take away are the smiling faces of 20 family members from 7 months to 80 years. Being here during the heat wave of the summer meant we kept our cool by swimming off the pontoon, using the jetski as a ferry when younger kids got too cold and needed to come back to shore to warm up. All the watercraft were used as we explored new skills or brushed up on what they had done years ago. The home provided various spaces for adults to have quiet conversations and the property outdoors allowed for lots of running and hiding by the kids. We come away peaceful and relaxed, looking forward to coming back again.."

  • Great place!

"The guesthouse was very nice and the property was well kept and private. The lake looked prestine ,although too cold to use at this time of year. There was also plenty around the area to keep us entertained. We took my truck on an off-road trail nearby which brought us through some beautiful scenery. It's definitely the kind of place to stay when trying to "getaway from it all" while still not having to go far to reconnect. Thanks for everything guys!"
