  • Quiet, comfortable setting with an amazing view of the legendary Ten Mile sunset!

"First of all I should mention that I've spent 40 summers at Ten Mile Lake along with my family. That being said I may be biased when it comes to the crystal clear waters of The Mile, however it was a new experience for me to stay at a rental property. Indisputably one of the most beautiful lakes in the state you won't be disappointed with all Ten Mile Lake has to offer. The property was clean & well maintained from the outside. There is a fire pit, and there are a few lawn chairs, a picnic table and small bistro set. Inside was neat & tidy awaiting our arrival. Plenty of large windows & ceiling fans. Both cabins had sliding glass doors in the front for a great view of the lake. The dock is a bit small but it served our purposes just fine i.e. fishing, swimming & tying up the boat. It's a small swimming area and the more it got used we had a nice sandy bottom, not rocky. We did not feel the need for water shoes. We spent the majority of our time on the lake swimming and fishing. We rode four wheelers as there are many trails for Atv's! Northern lights casino is a mere 5 minutes away and Walker MN is less than 15 min away. Can't beat the location and the family is planning our next vacation to Ten Mile!"

  • Great condo

"Our family of 6 adults and 2 infants thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay. The condo was perfect for our needs, and could have comfortably accommodated more folks. It was clean and very cozy. We brought our own infant beds and there was plenty of floor space within the bedrooms to allow comfort for everyone. The condo is big enough to allow sleeping and family time to happen simultaneously. The large main fridge, and extra refrigerator in the pantry were put to good use as we cooked and ate most of our meals in the condo. The kitchen easily accommodated many cooks working together. The resort has wonderful layout and amenities were easy to access. All details were handled quickly and easily with Kurt by phone. We will rent again!"

  • Very nice

"It was a very nice updated cabin including new appliances and washer and dryer, but the distance to the lake was a bit long and steep. There was no electricity to the dock that we were aware of. Sharon and Gil Kubacek, the neighbors we picked up the key from, were a very nice couple. We visited a couple times with them and enjoyed their company."

  • Fantastic Summer Getaway Cabin! We'll be back!

"Mu husband, our 3 kids, and I rented this cabin last month for a family getaway before summer ended and school began. It was such a great experience and we had so much fun! The cabin and grounds are beautiful, updated, and very clean and well-kept, and the owners are very accommodating and responsive. Even the beach area and lake water were amazingly clean. The cabin accommodated our family of 5 well, but could certainly house several more if we had a bigger group. The back bedroom with the loft was perfect for our two boys (ages 9 and 10). To them it was like a fort! Our daughter (10 months) slept in her pack-n-play in the master bedroom with us. The view over the lake from the master bedroom is amazing! Because the cabin is high up on a hill and the bedroom is on the second floor, you really get a stunning bird's-eye view. Great sunrises! The cabin was fully-supplied with everything we needed, including kitchen/cooking utensils and dishes, bath and beach towels, sheets/pillows/blankets, toilet paper/kleenex, bug spray, charcoal for the grill, etc. It really felt like home! Highlights of the trip for our boys were swimming, the kayaks, the paddle boat, and ping pong table, along with nightly campfires in the fire pit with s'mores. We also rented a jet ski with a tube and a wakeboard for a couple of days. There is a Wal-Mart Superstore a few miles away, which is where we got all of our groceries and a few other items we forgot to pack. We spent an afternoon exploring downtown Park Rapids - such a cute, "up north" little town with several shops and a couple of candy shops with homemade fudge. We also drove up to Bemidji one day to see the famous Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox, and visited the Mississippi headwaters and Lake Itasca. Overall, we couldn't have been happier with our trip. We definitely hope to come back for another summer vacation sometime soon!"
