  • Kids vacation

"First the good. The cottage was clean the size was fine we had everything we needed. The outside was a good area for the kids to play ball. The location was great. And we felt very safe. Now the bad. There was something wrong with the front door I could not get it open it stuck and my grandson had to open it. Also we got into town about 2:30 I called the man said no check in was at 3. So we got to the cottage about 3:15. I called again to get the key code left a message. He never called back. Finally the lady cleaning walked by and she gave us the code. It was hot and we were tired. He never called. Also the air conditioner was on 80 and it took for ever to cool down. Everything else was fine I would like to stay there again."

  • Charming

"We enjoyed renting this home in Ocean Springs. We found this a convenient location for our visit, reasonable price and much quieter than staying in nearby Biloxi. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds comfortable and a quiet neighborhood. The owners were very accommodating and willing to meet us when we arrived, but we declined since our arrival was late on a Friday night. We were contacted to ensure all was well, which was appreciated. The property was clean. We would recommend it to others."

  • Doesn't Get Better Than This!

"Coming back to my hometown, I wanted a place to stay that had a personal feel. I wanted to be in town as opposed to by some highway/interstate. Oak Shade was this and more. It is the PERFECT location right between Front Beach and the Harbor. You can walk to town or East Beach easily. The suite had everything you might need. It was cozy and felt like home. Perhaps the best part of my stay was the host. I felt like I made a new friend!"

  • Better than a hotel

"If you are a couple looking for a clean, quiet place to spend a few nights then this is a great option. This is a one bedroom with a fold out couch located at the back end of the property. Although it is near train tracks (which I thought was neat since I like trains) this is not an issue. I think two trains came by each night we were there and I only heard them briefly since I was up. My wife never heard them and she is a light sleeper. Don't let this be a deterrent. There is a full fridge, silverware, cups, plates, a dishwasher, coffee maker (filter kind) microwave, and pretty much whatever you would have at home. Mr. Cooper replied quickly to my requests and was easy to work with. The location is across from Shaggy's restaurant and the gift shop with the giant shark mouth. We were in between Treasure Bay Casino (about 1.5 miles away) and Beau Rivage on the other side a couple of miles away just as a reference point. Easy access to everything. We will return if able."
