  • Great Rental Property

"This place had everything we needed in a vacation rental. It has plenty of space, all the indoor necessities, a beautiful in-ground pool and patio area, large fenced in yard for pets, and a great location to get to and from the beach area and main highways. On top of that, it is beautiful and well-maintained inside and has DirecTV and AT&T Wifi for rainy days. There is only one bathroom, and the tub is very high to get into with no railing to use. That was an issue with us because we had some seniors with us, but we still made it work. There is a Wal-Mart just a couple miles from this location, which was very convenient. The area was good. The beaches and ocean, as you've seen in other reviews, is kind of nasty-looking. You have to go out pretty far to actually get deep in the water, and the sand/silt makes the water brown. Our kids (8 & 12) loved it, though, because they would rather look for sea creatures than swim. We found tons of shrimp, fish, and hermit crabs to examine, as well as plenty of shells. I liked the lack of crowds on the beach. We also spent time up in Gulfport and Biloxi for activities. The kids really liked going on a shrimp boat and seeing them catch & release a net full of animals. That was made better by a couple of dolphins that swam along side the boat for a while. Of course, there were many great seafood restaurants up Ocean Blvd. We had a very memorable meal at the Half-Shell Oyster House in Gulfport. Overall, a great vacation at a great location."

  • Cute, cozy & EVERYTHING you could need!

"This is NOT your 5 star fancy schmancy beachfront condo. This IS a incredibly comfortable, affordable and quite house. It is close to everything but enough off the beaten path to be relaxing. It was more than adequate for 4 adults and 3 kids. The layout was ideal. There were so many things available that made our trip comfortable: pack n play, baby gate, crock pot, outdoor games, board games, puzzles, and even toys for the kids. There were plenty "starter supplies" to last until we made it to the store. The back yard was very large, nice and shaded. When we had rain for a day, the games kept us busy, DVDs and tons of cable channels helped pass the time. The owner was outstanding in communicating with us in advance of the trip, checking in on us during our stay, and even came to our rescue when a valuable item was left behind. If we make it back to the area, we will plan to stay here again!"

  • Old South Charm at its finest!

"Loved the house, and the room it provided the family while we were in transition waiting for our permanent home. So much better than staying in a hotel for two months with a family of 5 and a dog! Betsy was on top of any little problem that came up, and was such a joy to get to know!! Took a bit to get used to the trains going by, but once we did, it wasn't a big deal. My daughter really enjoyed being able to walk to the beach! We are looking forward to booking again in the near future! Thanks, Robin and Betsy, for everything 😄"
