"We had nine people in our group-all adults. This home was absolutely perfect in every way, we could not have asked for more! The property is breathtaking. From the moment you enter the gate, down the winding drive, past the old original log homestead, over the sparking pond, to the beautiful home, you know you are in for some serious relaxation! The house itself is gorgeous, outfitted with stunning antiques, yet maintaining a relaxed, easy-going and comfortable mood. You have views of the lake from almost every room! The house is wired for sound, every single room has an individual volume control. There are 3 levels, you enter the home on the second level, which includes living, kitchen, dining, breakfast, game room, occasional room, guest bathroom, two bedrooms (one King, one queen) both with private baths. The queen room has a private balcony. I would consider both of these rooms "master" bedrooms. The kitchen is outfitted with top of the line appliances (if you like to cook, this is where you'll be!) Up to the stairs to the third level is a very large master suite that includes luxurious bathroom, washer/dryer, tanning bed, and fireplace. It also has a large private balcony. Downstairs, there is a TV room, full (really nice) kitchen, separate billiards room, sauna, laundry room, plus 4 more bedrooms (one full size, one w/twin beds, one queen/full bunk, and a twin/twin bunk). None of these bedrooms have a private bath, but there are two bathrooms on this level. Just outside the back doors, there is a grill area, swimming pool, gas fire pit, large (and fancy) hot tub, and access to the guest cottage with its private bath and kitchen. There is also a wood burning fire pit in the lower level of the backyard (with wood available at no extra cost). All of this with stunning views from every angle! Tons of space to spread out. We loved all the outdoor patios and balconies! It was just an amazing house. I don't consider this a drawback, but some may -- it's about a 20 minute drive to the nearest grocery store and some of the roads are narrow and winding. It's what you should expect in the mountains. Also, when we arrived at the home, the owner was there completing some last minute touches, super nice guy. He invited us to make ourselves at home while he finished up. He left his cell number to call if any problems, and he was very responsive when we contacted him with a couple of questions we had during our stay. Overall, A+++++++"
