  • Truly spectacular!

"We had nine people in our group-all adults. This home was absolutely perfect in every way, we could not have asked for more! The property is breathtaking. From the moment you enter the gate, down the winding drive, past the old original log homestead, over the sparking pond, to the beautiful home, you know you are in for some serious relaxation! The house itself is gorgeous, outfitted with stunning antiques, yet maintaining a relaxed, easy-going and comfortable mood. You have views of the lake from almost every room! The house is wired for sound, every single room has an individual volume control. There are 3 levels, you enter the home on the second level, which includes living, kitchen, dining, breakfast, game room, occasional room, guest bathroom, two bedrooms (one King, one queen) both with private baths. The queen room has a private balcony. I would consider both of these rooms "master" bedrooms. The kitchen is outfitted with top of the line appliances (if you like to cook, this is where you'll be!) Up to the stairs to the third level is a very large master suite that includes luxurious bathroom, washer/dryer, tanning bed, and fireplace. It also has a large private balcony. Downstairs, there is a TV room, full (really nice) kitchen, separate billiards room, sauna, laundry room, plus 4 more bedrooms (one full size, one w/twin beds, one queen/full bunk, and a twin/twin bunk). None of these bedrooms have a private bath, but there are two bathrooms on this level. Just outside the back doors, there is a grill area, swimming pool, gas fire pit, large (and fancy) hot tub, and access to the guest cottage with its private bath and kitchen. There is also a wood burning fire pit in the lower level of the backyard (with wood available at no extra cost). All of this with stunning views from every angle! Tons of space to spread out. We loved all the outdoor patios and balconies! It was just an amazing house. I don't consider this a drawback, but some may -- it's about a 20 minute drive to the nearest grocery store and some of the roads are narrow and winding. It's what you should expect in the mountains. Also, when we arrived at the home, the owner was there completing some last minute touches, super nice guy. He invited us to make ourselves at home while he finished up. He left his cell number to call if any problems, and he was very responsive when we contacted him with a couple of questions we had during our stay. Overall, A+++++++"

  • Wonderful peaceful get away

"I took my children there for Christmas. The cabin is very comfortable and is well decorated. The location is very quiet with a great river view and plenty of hiking available. I would definitely come back!"

  • Relaxing weekend; beautiful views

"My husband, friend, and I stayed here this past weekend. We also had our 3 dogs with us. We had a very relaxing weekend. The views were incredible, but as a result, there is no water access. There are visible neighbors next door, but that didn't seem to be an issue. There was firewood provided, so we got to enjoy a fire in the fireplace (there's a fire pit outside, too) both nights we stayed. There was plenty of room for everyone and room for more. The upstairs bathroom only has a tub and no shower. There aren't any convenient outlets in the downstairs bathroom, but I was able to use one next to the vanity in the bedroom instead. The back porch was our favorite spot, and since there was a dog gate there, we were able to let our dogs come and go as they pleased out there, which was great. Check out was at 11:00 AM."

  • We loved it! Amazing place!!

"Thank you Sanders family for letting us enjoy your home in Bull Shoals, Arkansas. The location was perfect, the views were spectacular, and the house was comfortable. Everything was spotless when we arrived, communication was great, all was as described in the listing. Thank you again and we hope to return someday."
