"There were 7 of us that stayed here for a small family reunion. Other than the water smell, everyone had room, had their own bed and enjoyed the nature of this farmhouse. House was bigger than we thought. Wal-Mart is just down the road so no problem getting things you need while you are there. The Farmhouse is equipped with linens, games, TV's, towels, kitchenware, just about anything you might need. We enjoyed canoeing on ELK river and sitting at the creek across the road from the farmhouse. We drove to Pineville not far from the house and rented canoe's at Kozy Kamp. they were very nice and no problem renting canoes. I recommend if you have children not to go on the ELK on a Saturday. It was way too crowded and lots of people drinking, fighting, bad language. Friday was calm and nice so I suggest going during the week. Other than going on the river, we sat around the picnic table and just visited and instead of going out to eat, we stayed and grilled on the grill that was provided to us. It was very nice and quiet. Much better than a campsite, most of us are getting older and enjoy the quietness, having a bed and no neighbors. The sisters were very nice and accommodating. This vacation home was a good find to us as we all enjoyed our stay."
