  • Very large family house with an awesome view from the upper deck.

"We had 14 people stay in this home and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house is fully furnished with everything you might need or have forgotten. We spent a lot of time on the large dock, playing pool on the screened porch, and drinking coffee on the upper deck watching the sunrise. We would definitely stay again! 14 people is a lot of people to vacation with however, there is so much room on this property from the house, upper deck, screened porch, and the huge party dock we weren't cramped at all and had a great time!"

  • Perfect place for our visit

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Elves Manor was the perfect place for our stay in St. Louis. The furnishings are comfortable and the decorations enchanting. The kitchen is equipped with just about any appliance, cookware, and utensil you need to prepare meals. There are also a variety of good restaurants in the neighborhood. A pharmacy and grocery store are a short walk from the Manor. The home is right in the center of the city but was surprisingly quiet. The backyard is landscaped in a way to make sitting on the deck sipping coffee very relaxing and private. Our hostess went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We are already planning our get-together for next year."

  • The house itself was great. It had a large kitchen that was open to the living room.

"The house is perfect for entertaining with it's open concept. The backyard is flat and opens right up to the dock. The cove where the house sits is nice and quiet, perfect for swimming and lounging in the oversized raft. The only issue we had was with the boat lift. If you rent a boat I would call Dawn and Mike to get additional instructions on which boat lift to use. Dawn was very responsive when the issue came up. We had a fabulous stay and would definitely recommend this property!"

  • Wow. The home is beautiful while being very comfortable as well. A hit with our family.

"When our families (My wife and I and our daughter, her husband and our grandchild) set out to find a place to meet for a first-time vacation together, this was the first home my daughter chose. We had decided on Lake of the Ozarks and researched every rental available on the lake (a lot!). In the end we decided 56 Inner Lane was our winner. From first contact with Susan Kifer to regrettably locking the door behind us as we finished our trip, the experience was excellent. Susan is not only nice, but caring and responsive as well. The home is situated in a pretty secluded cove on a very busy lake system. The bustle of the main lake never had an effect on our quiet, exactly-what-we-needed break from real life. The nicely furnished and fully equipped home is big and could easily handle a group outing and so big we never used the 3rd floor at all. We did however make great use of each of the decks, piers and balconies. The gazebo next to the water was very popular for watching our granddaughter wade in the lake while Bluegills nipped at her legs! Nighttime was for the grill on the top deck and dinner overlooking a glassy-calm lake cove with multicolored lights dancing on the water. We rented a pontoon boat from the Alhonna Resort, very close, and added sunset cruises and dawn-fishing to our trip. It's an easy drive to the Bagnell Dam strip, Osage Beach and the Nat'l. Park is near too. The couple of very minor issues were immediately addressed in the most gracious of manner. A winner folks. Look no further, this is the home you want to rent. Thank you Susan! Sincerely, The Karlson-Perrott families"
