Peaceful location with a beautiful view

4 of 5
Overall, we had a wonderful experience. If you're looking for the most telling review, here is it is: we'd go back tomorrow. Jason was very responsive from booking to checking out. The condos are a little old, but still in great shape. The bathrooms are on the small side, but not a deal breaker. The bedrooms are perfect for a family of four, my girls were thrilled with the bunk beds. The condo was clean upon arrival -- a few cobwebs here and there in the high rafters, but we didn't care. The corners in a few rooms needed an extra sweep, but nothing over the top. We took note of some normal wear and tear here and there, but again, not a deal breaker. The view is amazing. There is another row of condos between the building and the lake, but the view from the top floor is beautiful. The only reasons I gave the condo 4 instead of 5 is the stairs and that it's a slightly smaller, older condo (but still in great, enjoyable shape). The main pool is gorgeous and you'll want to be there! But there are several flights of stairs down and back to that pool! The smaller pool right below the condo is about 7 flights or so down and back. We did struggle with the gas grill -- we had to use the lighter to get it going, which is a bit intimidating if you're not used to doing that. The condo is a short drive from Redhead Lakeside Grill, which we enjoyed after a tour of the Ozark Distillery, which is also right down the road! The Lake of the Ozark State Park, the strip and mini-golf are also a short and easy drive away. There were 50% chances of rain on our last day, so we zipped over to the Tan-Tar- A indoor water park. It's small and pretty expensive, but we had a fun time. Again -- overall, we'd go back in a heartbeat. It was very quiet and peaceful, the complex wasn't flooded with people when we were there. We highly recommend it for a wonderful family getaway!

Bay Point Village Condo

5 of 5
I truly enjoyed my birthday getaway. The condo was clean and spacious. The grounds (city) were clean and well kept, beautiful. The people were very friendly and full of information. The resturants were all places to return, especially Jeffrey's Prime Rib & Lobster. Thanks for a wonderful experience.
