  • Relaxing

"My friend and I recently stayed at this condo. It was very comfortable and relaxing. The view from the balcony was great. The location of the pool was a comfortable walking distance. The manager was great to work with. I received my deposit back, just as stated within a week after the stay. The only thing I would recommend is to replace the plastic vertical blinds. You couldn't close them because of broken blinds. I've had these before and never liked them for that reason. It is a little outdated as far as the decor. The couch and loveseat were dated also. Overall, we enjoyed out time there. It was nice to have the extra space even though we only used one bedroom. It was definitely roomy. A great location for a couple or a family."

  • Beautiful, clean, just the right size for 2

"My husband and I stayed at this condo for a weekend get-away to celebrate our anniversary. I'm a little Type-A, so I really dug through all the options to try to find the best value. I had never rented anything more than a hotel room before, so I was a little nervous. Main priorities: a balcony with a lake-side view, wifi, a DVD player, and a king-sized bed. It's just a few yards from the car to the door, and we had no trouble getting in. We were very impressed by the quiet, secluded balcony and the beautiful decor of the condo. It's clearly been remodeled--the outside of the condo looks older and more worn-down, but the inside is stunning. The (very comfortable) king-sized bed with the TV in the bedroom was perfect for relaxing, and there were plenty of "extras" in the kitchen--pots & pans, silverware, dishes, coffee pot, slow-cooker, etc. Kitchen items we couldn't find: coffee filters, corkscrew, and salt & pepper shakers. Maybe they were there and we just missed them, but either way, those are easy enough to bring in your suitcase if you need them. The bathroom was clean and a decent size. We didn't find a single bug in the condo (you kind of expect to find a couple when staying so close to a lake), and we greatly enjoyed our stay. I noticed one of the previous reviewers had described the balcony as being cramped and small. It is a little small (probably 4 feet from the door to the railing), but the main issue is that the table is just 4-6 inches too big for the space. My husband had a little bit of trouble squeezing past that table to get to the other chair, but once you get settled, it's well worth it. The chairs are comfortable and the view is exactly what we went to the Ozarks for. We did have to text the owners at one point during the trip (we weren't understanding how to work the lock on the door), but they responded immediately (under 30 seconds), and their quick explanation solved the issue. Just one more note: This really is ideal for either a couple or a couple + kids. If we went with another couple, we'd probably seek out something with more than one bathroom and a dining room table (rather than just the bar). But as it was just us, it fit all our needs perfectly. I would definitely recommend this place for a couple's get-away."

  • Family Vacation

"We had an excellent time at your home. Having eight adults and three small children we could not have asked for a more comfortable house and a safe / enjoyable setting to make our stay so wonderful. The closeness to stores, shops, restaurants and tourist activities while yet provide such a remote lake house feeling was quite awesome. Your home was extremely clean and had all of the necessities for a carefree stay.... Thanks again for your hospitality and for being available to us for any questions we had. We surely will be passing our comments along to all of our friends."

  • The property was great. Loved the location.

"My husband and I took our 4 children spouses and grand children to the Ledges. 23 of us in all. This particular unit worked well for my son, his wife and 3 sons. I was impressed with Ledges overall for overall accessibility and features. The boys fished off of the docks, went swimming in the pools and at the beaches. This particular unit gave us pause as we felt it was set up to question our damage deposit. The bathroom door hook had already made a pretty good mark in the wall and the door stop for that door was broken. The deck light was not working and the door strike plate just fell off when no one was even using the door. I have not heard yet if we will be responsible for these things, so we will see. Otherwise we absolutely loved it and would certainly return."
