  • Family Friendly Vacation at the Lake

"Jenny was very welcoming and showed us the property. The house was clean. We brought our own pantry items and groceries filling the refrigerator for the weekend. We really enjoyed the location of the house - private, yet close walking distance to activities. Swimming and renting paddle boards in the swimming area was a hit. We also rented 2 jet skis for a few hours at Pirates Point. My children's favorite part was touring the Bridal Cave and exploring Ha Ha Tonka State Park, both are within a short driving distance. The deck was a perfect place to sit back in the shade and relax looking out at the lake."

  • Amazing place. Amazing time with the family!

"This is the second year we have stayed with my family and my in-law’s family at this lake house. Altogether there are 13 of us (4 adults and 9 kids ranging from 1-15 years old). There are 3 bedrooms upstairs and room for 6+ in the bunkbeds in the downstairs, we all sleep comfortably and with 4 bathrooms (3 showers) you never have to wait in line! The kitchen is awesome. Since we stay a week, we try and eat a lot of our meals in house. There is a large refrigerator to hold the food for our small army and the bar and dining room table have plenty of seating for all of us. With the fully stocked cabinets, we didn’t have to worry about bringing cups, plates, silverware, etc. No worry about wasting time washing all the dishes either. There’s a dishwasher. Pop them in and hit the beach! There is something for everyone. Arcade games, 2 tvs with cable, wifi, hottub, pool table, board games/cards, beach, swimming, etc. With so much to do there isn’t a bad day. Great weather, we play outside. If not, we bring it in and have a blast. With all the room and plenty to do, we don’t trip over each other either. At least one time every stay, we will move the couch to the edges, hook up the disco light (it’s downstairs in the game cabinet), and have a dance party at night. The kids love it! When it comes to location, this house couldn’t be better. It’s in a no wake cove so we can actually swim instead of other locations on the lake that are rough. It’s walking distance from Captain Ron’s Restaurant. There you can play sand volleyball, let the kids play on the playground, or enjoy the band on the weekends. Pirate’s point is a few blocks away. It has some great owners as well and we rent our wave runners and pontoons from them. Woods is one of the best grocery stores I have been in. It’s a couple miles away and is reasonably priced. Cannon Smoke BBQ is a must for us every trip. Great atmosphere and food. All other things to do within a 30 minutes of here: Camdenton/Ha Ha Tonka State Park – If you love nature, it’s a must see. If you don’t, just go! We hit it every year. Bagnell Dam – Walk over the dam. Old time photos, arcade, craft and souvenir shops. Osage beach - Outlet malls, Miner Mike’s, Go Karts, Mini golf, etc. The best thing about our stay is the memories. The kids will talk about this place all the time. On the last day, it’s hard to leave because we just want to stay! That day, we are already looking forward to the next year."

  • Perfect Birthday getaway

"Beautiful and Comfortable Home! Fabulous view and activity for all ages! We had from 9 months to 76 years old to celebrate my birthday. I can't thank Randy enough for the great time we were able to have in his home. The "older" folks chilled on the deck enjoying the view, while the younger ones headed to the dock for swimming and fishing. Grilling and dining on the deck brought us all back together. The younger ones went to the lower level to play games and watch videos while the old ones played cards on the main level. I have to admit all of us went to bed early and slept soundly from all the fresh air and exercise in the very comfortable beds. All of my family is asking "when can we come back?" I highly recommend anyone come and enjoy a week at the lake."

  • Cozy and peaceful place to spend the holidays. Perfectly set up for a family of 3-5.

"The cabin was clean and tastefully decorated. It has a beautiful view of the lake and in winter is peaceful and quiet. All the furniture was comfortable and the house had everything we needed. The owners were very helpful as well when we needed stuff. Our kid lived the Wii and we enjoyed watching the lake, sitting by the fire, and reading our books. We really enjoyed our time here and could definitely imagine coming back!"
