  • Secluded, yet close to town. Beautiful surroundings.

"My family converged on the Nixa house from 3 different directions for Thanksgiving. The large dining room was perfect for the holiday meal. We were all pleasantly surprised at what was included. Electric griddle, crockpot, dishwasher all made meal prep and clean up easy. Having a washer and dryer on site was very convenient. The den with bar and two decks has a fireplace and plenty of seating. Two full baths and a half was enough to accommodate the brood. The master bedroom upstairs became a welcome retreat. Grocery store and restaurants are just 5 miles away in Nixa. Springfield is about 5 more miles in the same direction. Branson and all its entertainment options are about 30 minutes away. We really enjoyed Clue Pursuit Live in Springfield. You need an appointment, but it was a lot of fun. If your family needs a large place , this is the one. Communication between Ms Amy and myself was quick and helpful. There was talk in my family about it becoming our new Thanksgiving tradition."

  • Wonderful Stay!

"We had a great stay! This house fits our little family perfectly! The hot tub was such a nice bonus on the cold nights. It has such a nice central location. We can't wait to stay there every time we come back to visit Springfield!"

  • Homey charmer

"Our family gathered in Springfield for a memorial service and this comfortable, well equipped home made everything manageable. We were able to make coffee and breakfast each morning; today we hosted a small family lunch before the service. Each night we sat around the capacious living room to catch up and tell stories. Folks could choose to grab a snack or take a nap while others visited. It was HOT outside but comfortable inside. House is in a quiet neighborhood close to MSU. Lovely yard. Decor is pleasing, with interesting books and artwork, thoughtful placement of lamps and plenty of linens and practical items. John and Pat made check in and payment easy. What an infinitely preferable place to stay than one of the faceless hotels on a busy street surrounded by traffic and fast food restaurants. Great place for families and couples."

  • Visited from Dallas

"My family visited from Dallas for a memorial service we were attending. The house was just perfect for us and it was beautifully decorated. We had a chance to meet with Pat and Chuck and they brought us a delicious pastry from the bakery downtown. They really made us feel welcome in their home and we very much appreciated their kindness. Thank you, The Lane Family"
