                  Classy cabin in the woods!

                  5 of 5
Our party of 6 had already stayed at Randy and Julie's other cabin called the Chinkapin to much delight. For this trip we wanted to try out this other one they had, the dogwood. I don't know how it could be any better! This cabin has a shabby chic decor with a touch of class, very inviting and comfortable for our party. It has all the comforts of home and is completely furnished with all you need. Just need to bring food an drinks. Like the other cabin, it is tucked into towering trees for plenty of shade and so peaceful with the calls of so many varieties of birds. I can only imagine what it looks like here in the spring because the shorter trees are mostly all dogwoods and keeps the privacy between the 2 cabins which are maybe 100 yards apart. We walked to the hiking trail and saw folks cliff diving, but none in our party were brave enough to try it, we'll stick to boating. We have a 24' boat and you can park it in the carport, or there is additional trailer parking when you come into the property or can park in the yard, no worries there. The boat launch is just right down the road, and we are now looking to maybe store our boat at one of the storage facilities just blocks away. We are so glad we found these cabins and like I said in my other review, they truly are the best at Stockton Lake and we have tried them all. This are our new home away from home for years to come!
