  • Great private getaway

"The cabin was great. We stayed with our 3 kids and they all enjoyed it. We brought our kayaks and played in the water. We also enjoyed the movie selection and games!"

  • The Perfect Family Vacation Location

"After taking about 16 months to plan a Family Vacation we ended up at probably the best spot we could have ever hoped to find. Troy and Teri's home is just perfect. We had 14 family members from 4 years old to 67 enjoying every minute of our stay. The lake front location was perfect. The secluded setting was perfect. The amenities were perfect. While preparing food for 14 people everyday, we had every utensil, appliance, and the necessary space for every meal. The home is beautiful and clean. The play room was great. We could have wished for nothing more. The memories we made will stay with our family for a life time. Thank you Troy and Teri for the most wonderful vacation. Anyone wanting a great vacation should choose this great home, you can't go wrong."

  • Always a great time!

"We've been coming to the Cabin Bluff Retreat for quite a long time. This was our granddaughter's first trip & she loved the lake! We all had a fun relaxing time & look forward to coming back next year. 👼🏼"

  • Beautiful, spacious home. Highly recommended.

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this lovely home. The layout worked beautifully for our group of 10: 2 families (with 2 kids each) in the upstairs bedrooms (although the cozy alcoves are almost a bit too cozy for lanky teens!), grandparents in the master downstairs, and another grandparent in the office/spare room. The common areas are spacious and comfortable for a big group; the kitchen is well appointed (although the oven seems to cook quite slowly/inconsistently); the pool table in the basement was lots of fun for all of us; the deck is huge and even in December we spent some time there, enjoying the view and the quiet woods. The house sits on a lovely lot, wooded and sloping down to the lake. Very private and secluded. But, even with the accurate instructions provided by the owners, I wouldn't recommend trying to find it at night. It is tucked far away down a gravel drive. We had to drive out to the road to fetch one group who couldn't find their way. Wi-fi is easy to connect to, but slow when several people are using it at once. Don't plan to use it to stream videos. I highly recommend this house. We hope to stay there again someday!"
