  • Great little place for some real peace & quiet. On back deck watched fog "twirl" up off the lake.

"Like I said peaceful & quiet. Peaceful, cause everything is in the cabin you need. Yes, you bring in fav things too, but there is "peace in mind" of having to think of "everything!" Quiet, cause it is just "plain quiet" when you sit & listen."

  • Could not have been better!

"We loved everything about this condo. It is incredibly spacious (bigger than pictures suggest) and incredibly convenient. The pool is steps from the patio. We could watch our older kids from the kitchen window and we sat on patio and watched kids swim too. Updated kitchen and three very large bathrooms. Condo is also about 100 yards from the Marina, which we didn't have great luck with. They gave us a defective pontoon boat (which they admitted) but wouldn't provide any type of refund. Ended up going elsewhere for another rental. But the condo was wonderful and Sandy is full of knowledge and advice for making your trip relaxing and fun."

  • Thankful Thanksgiving!

"This house was a great choice for our two families of five. It comfortably housed the ten of us. Highlights included: 1. Beautiful panoramic views of the lake area off the lower and upper decks. The decks provide a super late sunrise (after it clears the big hill) and only the afterglow of the sunset (but still pretty). 2. Large main level room. 3. Well equipped kitchen that allowed us to pull together an awesome Thanksgiving Dinner. 4. Large lower level served as an entertaining center (pool table, game table, tv for gaming, foosball table) for our five teenage children and one 20+ young adult. Two large bedrooms are also on this level. 5. It's secluded... loved the access to the lake... even took the provided canoe out to explore. We wish we would have brought our fishing equipment. New staircase helped us easily reach the steep downhill climb to the boat slip (probably not senior citizen or disabled friendly). 6. Very comfortable mattresses for sleeping. 7. Nice master bedroom suite with garden tub. 8. Thirty minute drive into Branson, maybe 20 to Silver Dollar City. Far enough away for beautiful seclusion, yet close enough for easy entertainment and shopping access. 9. Outdoor firepit out back was a nice feature... with wood provided. 10. There is a playground near the firepit, but our kids were all too old to enjoy. The only drawback for us was that we arrived after 10 pm in a deluxe 43' motor home. We were surprised by the steep drive that declined and ended in a narrow turn. After a few trials and errors, we learned to navigate the challenge, but I would think twice before bringing a large recreational vehicle into the driveway. The Snyder's (the owners) were super responsive to emails and easy to work with. I'm a regular (and picky) VRBO traveler. I have high expectations and always looking for the best value. Big Uncle's Cabin on Little Aunts Creek met both my expectations and was definitely a superb value."
