  • beautiful place!!

"the property and area were beautiful - really felt at home - long walks, dogwood canyon and BBQ at Jill's were all great - Ma's diner for breakfast was also a treat - Jacqui was awesome to work with - would definitely recommend the beautiful home and area - i will caution that it's a very hilly area and as my wife and i are avid runners, it was a bit of a challenge - comfort, fun and beauty more than made up for the tough runs :) thanks Jacqui!!"

  • Beautiful cabin and setting

"We were very impressed with the beauty of the cabin and setting. So close to all the major attractions yet seemed very secluded. The furnishings were very nice and we would definitely recommend to family and friends. Had a very nice stay!"

  • Thankful Thanksgiving!

"This house was a great choice for our two families of five. It comfortably housed the ten of us. Highlights included: 1. Beautiful panoramic views of the lake area off the lower and upper decks. The decks provide a super late sunrise (after it clears the big hill) and only the afterglow of the sunset (but still pretty). 2. Large main level room. 3. Well equipped kitchen that allowed us to pull together an awesome Thanksgiving Dinner. 4. Large lower level served as an entertaining center (pool table, game table, tv for gaming, foosball table) for our five teenage children and one 20+ young adult. Two large bedrooms are also on this level. 5. It's secluded... loved the access to the lake... even took the provided canoe out to explore. We wish we would have brought our fishing equipment. New staircase helped us easily reach the steep downhill climb to the boat slip (probably not senior citizen or disabled friendly). 6. Very comfortable mattresses for sleeping. 7. Nice master bedroom suite with garden tub. 8. Thirty minute drive into Branson, maybe 20 to Silver Dollar City. Far enough away for beautiful seclusion, yet close enough for easy entertainment and shopping access. 9. Outdoor firepit out back was a nice feature... with wood provided. 10. There is a playground near the firepit, but our kids were all too old to enjoy. The only drawback for us was that we arrived after 10 pm in a deluxe 43' motor home. We were surprised by the steep drive that declined and ended in a narrow turn. After a few trials and errors, we learned to navigate the challenge, but I would think twice before bringing a large recreational vehicle into the driveway. The Snyder's (the owners) were super responsive to emails and easy to work with. I'm a regular (and picky) VRBO traveler. I have high expectations and always looking for the best value. Big Uncle's Cabin on Little Aunts Creek met both my expectations and was definitely a superb value."
