  • WOW this is a Great Place to get away

"This cabin is one of four 10 miles north of Columbia Falls and just 10 minutes from Glacier National Park. We used the location as our base. It was just far enough from park to get away from the tourist stuff. Columbia Falls nice friendly town with plenty place to eat. This is a very well run operation the owner operators are on top of every part of you stay. Cabin are immaculately cleaned and well kept. Pictures are accurate. And the price is right we say many motel rooms that were not very nice for more money. If you get a cheap rate somewhere in this area be very cautious."

  • Transcendent Location, Impeccable Craftsmanship

"We checked out of the Two Medicine studio this morning and are already planning a return trip. Glacier NP is famous for its stunning alpine scenery, and these accommodations are worthy of the setting. Lone Elk Lodge is beautifully situated in a meadow with mountain views; our studio had a little deck facing toward the mountains and away from the road, with no highway noise. The building itself is immaculate: well designed and furnished, impeccably maintained (we didn't see a cobweb or a speck of dirt), and thoughtfully appointed. Two Medicine studio is quite roomy and had everything we needed, including a well-stocked full kitchen, a comfy bed (with great nightstands and reading lights--important to me!) and a little electric fireplace. As hosts, Leslie and Carl struck just the right balance. Attentive but not intrusive, they offered tips on hikes and restaurants and even left a plate of homemade scones to welcome us. Lone Elk Lodge was the perfect home base for an exceptional adventure."
