  • Stunning views and great home.

"Experience was AWESOME. The views from the house were nothing short of beautiful, the river is literally 200 feet off the back porch, geese everywhere and whitetails playing in the morning out the back door. Home was incredibly comfortable. The beds were great a queen in the master and 2 singles in the other bedroom. I know the singles are great because I slept on one the whole time and i am 6'2" 230 pounds. I gave my daughter and son in law the master suite as they were celebrating their first anniversary. Very, very roomy, if you need a break from everyone you can easily find it, pictures do not do it justice. Missoula takes about 25 minutes to get to which is an easy drive especially due to abundant wildlife. Lolo is only 10 minutes and Florence is 5 minutes. The house has virtually all supplies, I know because we bought sugar, coffee, flour, condiments and I brought a roasting pan for a Turkey, all was unnecessary, as it was already there. I met the owners and they are genuine people, they even placed a dozen eggs from their chickens in the fridge before we arrived. The only regret I have is, I will continue to rent this home over Thanksgiving or Christmas because they are not ready to sell this beautiful home, trust me I asked. I will happily rent this again and again and again. Joe Gardinier Redding, CA"

  • Beautiful property!

"We stayed here for my husband's parents' 50th anniversary, all their kids and grandkids were there. This house was spacious enough to fit all of us, and one of the master bedrooms was used by the anniversary couple. There were 2 masters and both were gorgeous. We loved the property, it was very private and had lots of outdoor space to play games, or to just hang out together. We had a problem in that there was a fire nearby the 2nd day we were there that suddenly came up in a valley close by. We were pretty nervous about it, and ended up evacuating that night. Luckily the property manager was able to let us use one of the other properties about 20 minutes away. It was much smaller and many of us were on the floor, but it worked out. We went back that next day to the Hamilton property and stayed the night. However the following day we evacuated again, as the fire was coming closer. Once again we went back to the smaller property. Amy, the property manager, was very helpful to us during this time, went over and beyond taking care of us. We really appreciated it. And even though things were not what we were expecting, we enjoyed just being together as a family. Wish we could have stayed the whole time at the Hamilton house, it really was perfect for the size of our group. I would recommend it for any large family or friend gathering!"

  • Relaxing spot to fish and read books

"Very much enjoyed the stay. Caught some small fish in the river and explored the area. Only drawback was lack of internet and spotty phone service. But sometimes you have to put these things away and do something different. Very clean place and big kitchen. Comfy bed and good shower. Everything that is needed to charge up the batteries before the next leg of the trip."
