  • What a treat!

"We visited this beautiful home mid June. There are 9 of us visiting Glacier National Park as family reunion. Cortni gave out clear instructions. Upon arrival, we were stunned at how spacious this cabin is. It is surrounded in beautiful woods and charming both indoor and outdoor! The cabin is also close to Apgar Village where we can enjoy the beautiful Lake McDonald in the evening before heading back to cabin. We grilled hamburgs and sausages the first night and steaks the second night. It beats eating at the restaurants. After dinner, the kids play games by the fireplace; some of us sat inside reading; some enjoyed the porch where humming birds came for a visit. It is so relaxing that I wish we can stay longer. We love Glacier National Park and hope we can stay at King's Cabin when we do come back in the near future."

  • Tranquility

"My brother and his wife joined us for a trip to Glacier National Park in June. The Park is VERY busy and overrun with tourists. This cabin is a perfect retreat at the end of a hectic day fighting traffic and tourists in the spectacular Park. Each day we would retreat to the incredibly well built cabin and enjoy the view from the river bank and the paintings in the cabin done by one of the owners. We also perused a small paperback book compiled by one of the owners on the early history of the Park with fascinating pictures of the early days of development of the park. The cabin was extremely well furnished and we just loved the place."

  • Good base from which to explore Glacier National Park

"This was a mostly comfortable and convenient place to stay. The 15-20 minute drive to Glacier was no big deal, and the property is convenient to a number of restaurants and grocery stores. We liked the well stocked kitchen and the small deck that looks onto a fenced in back yard. Two complaints: 1. The bed /mattress was perhaps THE worst we have ever slept on. Truly awful. Please replace. 2. Check out procedures demanded that we mop, vacuum and whole list of crap. We've stayed in a number of VRBO properties. Sure, you often have to take out the garbage, put the sheets and towels in a pile to be washed, whatever. We felt like this was kind of over the top. What are we paying you for? You want us to mow the lawn and do your taxes too? Overall, our experience here was positive. Outside of the check out procedures, we would consider staying there again."

  • Cottage in the Woods!

"As soon as we arrived we noticed the awesome smell of a pie..to discover a freshly baked Huckerberry Pie awaiting us! We had pie from a few other places during our stay, but this was the best by far. The cottage was perfect for our week of hiking and enjoying GNP. Very clean with park maps and bear spray to use. The craftsmanship displayed when the owners remodeled after their purchase was excellent, showing an attention to detail. The cottage is on a large property with a fire pit with wood provided to enjoy the evenings. The owners we're very accomodationg and offered great suggestions on places to eat and see. I would like to return soon! Highly recommended!"
