  • Sweet, peaceful place.

"The cabin was modest but well-appointed, right at the edge of a beautiful lake. We didn't find the driveway or stairs to the bedroom (mentioned in other reviews) to be a problem. It was a very cozy and, we thought, well-loved space. The hosts were every friendly and responsive. There are other properties at the lake, some with people having gatherings or fishing, many empty, although I imagine that's a crapshoot or seasonal. The location is about a half hour drive from the nearest entrance to glacier national park. It was a lovely stay overall! Just be mindful that quiet is not guaranteed and noise travels easily across the water and canyon."

  • Perfect!

"Our stay at the Bearfoot Cabin was amazing. The cabin itself is well equipped with all that you need - from salad tongs to beautiful towels. The location for us was perfect... the setting was quiet and scenic. When reading the guest book when we first arrived, the most common word was 'turkeys' and yes, there were plenty of wild turkeys out front. The cabin was a perfect retreat after visiting our favorite haunts... the Blue Moon Saloon, shopping in Kalispell, and of course - Mooses for pizza. Because the cabin was so lovely, we ended up spending most of our time there - eating in and enjoying the 'Montana feel' of the property. It is a beautifully decorated home with more bears (everywhere) than a gift store! The owners have gone to great lengths to make this an inviting place to hang your hat. We all felt very comfortable in this home. There is a very informative binder for visitors outlining most of what the Flathead Valley has to offer. We would highly recommend this property!!"
