  • What a treat!

"We visited this beautiful home mid June. There are 9 of us visiting Glacier National Park as family reunion. Cortni gave out clear instructions. Upon arrival, we were stunned at how spacious this cabin is. It is surrounded in beautiful woods and charming both indoor and outdoor! The cabin is also close to Apgar Village where we can enjoy the beautiful Lake McDonald in the evening before heading back to cabin. We grilled hamburgs and sausages the first night and steaks the second night. It beats eating at the restaurants. After dinner, the kids play games by the fireplace; some of us sat inside reading; some enjoyed the porch where humming birds came for a visit. It is so relaxing that I wish we can stay longer. We love Glacier National Park and hope we can stay at King's Cabin when we do come back in the near future."

  • Pure Montana Living

"Montana Homestead is a darling country house retreat located near Glacier National Park. Our group of 3 adults and 3 kids (11, 13, 16) totally enjoyed our stay. Everything was as advertised - when we drove up several of us saw the house and yelled - "that's it!" Everything was very clean. Of course we went to Glacier a few days and saw all kinds of wildlife up close - fabulous! A smaller group went to Whitefish Mountain Resort and had fun on the Alpine Slide. Between these adventures, we had a great time at the house. River rafting with Montana Raft Company was also great. In the house, each corner, nook, and cranny is totally decorated so nicely that you really feel like you're at place to be free of your normal stresses and can just relax. The huge yard got a good workout from Frisbee, Frisbee golf, baseball and just running around. Grandma introduced the kids to horseshoes as well! The fire pit was a huge draw, both in trying to get a good fire started, and then sitting around talking and having S'mores. We were told - if you can't find something, open a drawer or cabinet and you'll find it -- which was true! We also enjoyed the owner's hospitality a few times, and really thought the gift of the 'Montana' shaped cutting board and huckleberry jam was a nice touch. Also noteworthy was the fact that the grocery store was just up the street, a good thing for a family that cooks rather than eats out... We would go back here in a heartbeat - it was just a great experience."

  • spacious and comfortable for our party of five

"We had a very comfortable stay. Property in great location for Glacier, and a nice tucked away in the forest feel. One day some deer walked past! The house was well provisioned with everything we might of needed - except a washing machine (our only complaint!). Beds were super comfortable and we would def stay here again. Thanks"

  • Excellent place for a quiet getaway.

"We stayed here as a family for a week over New Years Day. Nice and quiet Cabin. Even with the 2 ft. of snow it was warm, snow cleaned away and ready for us. We have 4 children under 9 yrs. old and it fit us well. You will find these Cabins in a nice location and a nice place to stay."
