  • Amazing views at this unique property

"We enjoyed returning to this place each day after exploring Glacier National Park. It was about a 20 min. drive to the West entrance. The view from the deck is stunning, so we had dinners and s'mores there every night. The solar power provided all the electricity we needed, and it was fun to see how much we used each day. Ty answered all our questions and took care of all our needs. We would stay here again and recommend it to friends."

  • Excellent place for a quiet getaway.

"We stayed here as a family for a week over New Years Day. Nice and quiet Cabin. Even with the 2 ft. of snow it was warm, snow cleaned away and ready for us. We have 4 children under 9 yrs. old and it fit us well. You will find these Cabins in a nice location and a nice place to stay."

  • Amazing log cabin on beautiful Spoon Lake

"The description and pictures of this cabin on Spoon Lake seemed too good to be true, but as soon as we arrived we knew we were in for a great week. The custom log cabin (which is more like a small lodge) is very comfortable and furnished with an assortment of rustic furniture and decorations. It easily accommodated our family of 6 adults and 2 young children. There is a wonderful view of the lake from the front porch, and the tall trees surrounding the cabin made us feel like we had the whole lake to ourselves. The lake water is crystal clear and we saw and heard a pair of loons every day. There was also a large family of ducks that showed up next to the dock as soon as they saw us. We saw, but could not catch, several largemouth bass, and our grandsons had a ball catching small perch while fishing from the dock. We used the canoe several times each day for fishing, or just to explore the shoreline. We had the good fortune of being here during a week of warm weather and went swimming off the dock every afternoon. The lake bottom is soft, so a swim tube or inflatable raft are recommended. Even though the setting made us feel like we were in the wilderness, Columbia Falls and Whitefish are both full service communities a short drive away. Glacier National Park is close by and easy to find, although we learned that in July you have to get there very early in the day to find any parking at popular stops along the Going to the Sun Road. Owners Jackie and Gib Black are great hosts and did everything possible to prepare us for our stay and answer our questions promptly. We thoroughly enjoyed our week at their "home" on Spoon Lake."

  • Animals galore

"You can't beat the view. What a treat to see all the deer and elk and beavers and otters... too many animals to count. Fabulous house. The only thing I wished for was a better Internet connection. But that's not the purpose of vacation. It forced me to disconnect."
