  • Ideal Montana

"Two families lived a comfortable mountain life here for 5 days. Great day trips between Whitefish and Glacier National Park provided a true Montana vibe and the treasure of snow caped peaks at enormous heights. The deck and game room were enjoyed daily and we used the kitchen every day for 8 people. Views from the property in general are quite good. North Fork river is only a few minutes away. Thanks for use of the bear spray, carried it but did not use it. Nice."

  • Can't wait to visit again!

"My wife and I and our 3 boys stayed here last week and enjoyed it immensely! It was our first time doing a VRBO and were pretty nervous, but there was nothing about staying here or dealing with Nicole that would keep us from doing it again. I asked Nicole a question via VRBO and she responded very promptly. Almost everything was what I remembered from the listing. The house is very nice and clean. Unfortunately, we never did take advantage of the BBQ, or even preparing a dinner due to time getting away from us in Glacier, but we did do breakfast and pack lunches for trips into Glacier. If we had done dinner, it appeared we would have had everything we needed. We used and had no complaints about the refrigerator, washer and dryer, dishwasher, showers. All are in great shape and work great. My wife loved the sheets on the beds, and everyone thought the beds were comfy. The area is so quiet and peaceful at night, and you can see so many stars compared to the city (could finally see the Milky Way!). As stated, there is no AC (and the temps were in the high 80's-90 degrees) but we found that the ceiling fans and pedestal fans pulled in the cool night air and the house cooled off nicely at night. The only thing I found different from the description was there was no satellite TV. It wasn't a huge deal as we weren't there to watch TV, but I was hoping to watch the local news/weather at night and could not. I hooked up my laptop to the TV and watched our news from Denver, and a TV show. It appears that maybe the review prior to mine also mentioned this, and Nicole has updated the listing. There is a Roku device, but to watch what we wanted we needed to provide our account info from home, and I didn't have it. It's not a big deal (since I gave 5 stars) but just something to be aware of. There is also a Netflix account, and I think the kids watched a kids show on it while we were getting ready in the AM. I really am envious that Nicole owns such a nice house in such a quiet, nice neighborhood so close to Glacier! Our kids asked us if we could move there. I guess you could say they liked it. ...oh, and if you ever decide to sell, let us know. ;) Thank you!"

  • Clean, fenced yard, very close to a local park.

"This home was clean and well furnished. The fenced yard was wonderful for our golden retriever. Wonderful location close to a park, less than a block away. Also, close to National park. We did not spend a lot of time on the property, we were busy exploring the area. But it was a quiet place with a comfortable bed to help us rest up for the next days adventure. We would recommend this home."
