  • Unbelievable Montana retreat!

"Just finished an outstanding 2 week stay at the lodge. Such a peaceful, serene setting. I am still dreaming of the afternoons spent sipping a beer and gazing at the fields and national forests in the background. Our toddler ran all over the huge lawn, and couldn't get enough of waving hi to the horses in the adjacent properties. 20 minutes to west glacier national park entrance, ~15 min to whitefish. We are already thinking of when we could come back. Brian is an gracious owner, and lives in the adjacent house. He definitely stays out of your way, but is also available for any issues that come up or to lend advice on what to see. When our rental car picked up a nail in the tire, he brought out an air compressor to fill up the tire so we could get to the shop! Also gave us great advice to head up to Polebrdige for pastries and up to Bowman Lake for a less crowded but gorgeous afternoon on the lake-beach. You should know that internet is provided, but really slow (I clocked 0.5mb/sec), which is fine because you're here to enjoy nature, not read Buzzfeed. However don't come in expecting to stream netflix. Also there is no air conditioning, which is fine for 90% of summer days, since evenings are quite cool and the house is designed to stay cool with its vaulted ceilings. However there was a heat wave ending the day we arrived, and so the first afternoon was a hot one, but every day after that was fine."

  • Family Time

"We traveled from MN to MT to visit our daughter. She requested spending our time together at Glacier National Park. We rented the house to have a family time atmosphere. It was wonderful! Everyone loved the house right as we entered it for the first time. Looking out the front porch is a beautiful scene of mountains and we saw wildlife everyday. It is only a short drive, 20 minutes or less, to Glaciers West Park entrance. We would easily go to and from the park multiple times a day. Shannon the manager of the property was wonderful to work with."

  • Wonderful Property!

"This is a beautiful cabin off the beaten path, away from the touristy areas of Glacier, but with very easy access to the park. Cabin was very well stocked, sparkling clean and great beds in a peaceful surroundings. We enjoyed a fire every night and watched the horses in the next door pasture. Can't say enough about how much we loved this place - definitely will stay here again when we go back."

  • Stunning

"It was everything we hoped for! The views were just breathtaking! Sitting at the dining room table and looking at the river and mountains was awesome!!! The upstairs area was perfect for star gazing!! All bedrooms were very comfortable! The fireplace was great for taking the chill out and just cozying up and reading a book! I think each bedroom should have a TV. Loved taking walks everyday! A little problem with flies but got it taken care of!! Did we enjoy our stay, you betcha!!"
