  • Nice cabin with a great location.

"Nice cabin with a great location! The owners are very accommodating and helpful. Deer and turkeys in the yard each day. We would not hesitate to stay there again!"

  • Great cabin and hosts, but loud train!

"Good: The cabin is just like the pictures and was great for our visit to glacier national park. It was close enough that full day hikes were doable, even when we planned for hikes on the other side of the park in Many Glacier. Hiking from Apgar or Logan pass was easily doable and we got to sleep in a little since it was so close! The cabin is located near a great butcher shop, and the grill on the back deck was convenient for grilling steaks. The cabin had great amenities like coffee, oil and spices for cooking, washer and dryer, and a comfy couch and bed. Less than good (but we still highly recommend this place!): The neighborhood is a little strange, in that theres a mix of older, less well kept properties, but the cabin itself was lovely and we never had a problem with the neighborhood. The cabin does face the railroad tracks, and a train goes by frequently and loudly. Even with the heavy curtains closed, and windows shut, there's no way you won't hear it every two hours. It shakes the bed in the loft upstairs. Some days it went by less frequently but our first night was interrupted a lot, even with ear plugs (which they provide). Since this was in the rental description, we weren't upset. While the train is way too loud to ever become white noise, we were tired enough from hiking that it didn't ruin our rest for early morning hiking. The spiral staircase is very pretty, but can be tough on taller folks and those sore from hiking. Not a big deal, unless you're traveling with elderly who may want to stay on the sleeper sofa downstairs. The wifi is also slow and disconnects regularly -- I never mentioned this to the hosts, so this may not be normal. It was not a necessity since we weren't online much, and it worked long enough to access trail maps and trail status updates. We couldn't access watch anything on Netflix due to the internet speed, but we weren't upset about it because it worked for our needs. Overall: Great place to stay and the hosts really do think about providing basics you might need. I recommend it to anyone visiting Glacier National Park, but I would tell them about the noise in case they are sensitive to being woken up. I would love to visit again in the future!"

  • Columbia Falls Gem

"This has been our best rental accommodations yet, after coming here to ski for over a decade. We enjoyed the view of deer just outside the window and cross country skiing right out the back door. The place was well equipped and very comfortable. Thank you again."

  • Beautiful Home in Columbia Falls

"We really enjoyed this beautiful home in Columbia Falls. We were 4 couples looking for a place to stay while enjoying the West side of Glacier Park. It was conveniently located, not far from the airport and the Park. Although it took us a few times to learn how to navigate through the community, it was perfect for us. The large open living room, kitchen, and dining room provided a great place for us all to be together to enjoy breakfast and later discuss the day over wine and drinks. We did have a problem with the coffee pot the first day but Shannon responded and had a new coffee pot ready and waiting on the front porch before we got back from the park. The home was very clean and had everything we needed including a nice back porch. I would highly recommend this property!"
