  • Amazing property

"We had an amazing stay here. Everything inside is all you need in a cabin. Tons of places to sleep, plenty of kitchen space, all the utensils you needed for cooking, it was perfect. The walk to the river is easy, the pond didn't have fish when we were there. They had friendly mules that we fed. We had 3 adults, an 8 year old and three 3 year olds. We didn't even use the two bedrooms downstairs. All 4 kids slept in the loft on the two queen beds. The one adult had his own bedroom and bathroom, the couple had their own bedroom and bathroom. We all had our own privacy. Best part is the deck. I sat there every morning with my coffee and every night with my glass of wine. You could dine outside, there was plenty of seating out there. We bbq a lot outside just enjoying the view. Plenty of grass for kids to play and about 10 min from Glacier. The owners are just great, easy going friendly people. There is a local huckleberry pie place down the road, we tried their huckleberry pie and huckleberry licorice and I totally recommend them! Costco wasn't too far, Glacier Sun Winery is a great stop. If you try their Huckleberry Wine (delicious), go buy it at Costco! There's a mystery house just down the road from the cabin to take the kids to, it's a fun tour. Would love love love to come back and stay here! Thank you!!!"

  • Perfect place to launch a Glacier National Park adventure!

"We stayed in this lovely, well appointed home for a week in June and it was perfect for us, our three boys, and our well behaved dog! Although it was the end of June, the house stayed cool enough for us to leave our kenneled pup inside and the cool evening breezes quickly cooled the house upon our daily return. The home was very clean and tastefully decorated. An extra bonus was that the large yard was fenced in and our dog was able to really stretch her legs in the Montana breezes! The beds were comfortable and the laundry machines modern and in a separate room, so we could run laundry in the house but not hear it much. The master bed and bath is quite large and is on one side of the house while the other two rooms are on the opposite side...great late at night when we wanted to sleep and the kids wanted to stay up and make a little noise! The owner is very easy to communicate with, which is much nicer than dealing with property managers who are completely disconnected from the property. The home is located a short 20 minute drive to the entrance of GNP, but only 10 minutes before you run into local tourist attractions, adventure guides/rentals, and cute shops. Downtown Columbia Falls is a short 5 minutes away and we highly recommend the Smiths Grocery store with fresh baked goods and a great hot deli counter. Do not miss the Huckleberry shakes at the Huckleberry Patch on the road to GNP...best around! Just as you pull into the street for the rental there are two brown Yurt looking buildings, one has a sign that says "pottery". If you are looking for that perfect Montana gift or keepsake for yourself, stop in! All the pottery is handcrafted by the artist who lives there and she does amazing work! We got beautiful handmade coffee mugs that look like art pieces and her prices are reasonable. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks Nicole for sharing your lovely home with us!"

  • Best of northwest Montana

"Jean has created a magical place with many thoughtful, understated touches. Not only is the location ideal for Glacier NP adventures, river rafting, hiking, swimming, dining... but each day on Jean's property brings new discoveries. It's the little things: a small fan for each bedroom, a croquet set for low-key family fun, freshly picked plums from the grove on site, the hammock... even properly working wifi. This very special property creeps into your soul, providing guests with a truly special, deeply Montanan experience. Jean is a marvelous host who, although she lives on site (in a separate dwelling), allows renters their own space both indoors and outside. We couldn't have been happier with our Northwest home, far away from our own Northeast home."

  • Perfect location for Glacier!

"Just want to say that this place had absolutely everything we needed for a 7 person stay. three of the people were our grandkids and they had TONS of room to play! The kitchen is huge and well equipped, so is the living room! Bedrooms are perfect. We stayed in the master bedroom and it had tons of room and privacy! One of the best things is how close it is to the West Glacier entrance! A golf course is across the street and stores are close. Will definitely book again! The owners are wonderful to work with also- gave great directions and made it all so easy!"
