  • Beautiful, secluded house away from the "touristy" entrances to Glacier, but not inconveniently so.

"Would absolutely come back to this property and would recommend to friends and family. Note that you need to grocery shop before you arrive, because nearest stores are in Columbia Falls. This is not a drawback, just something you need to plan for ahead of time."

  • 07/28/2016 Retirement Trip!

"We stayed here from 7/23/2016 - 7/28/2016 for my retirement trip. This home is as beautiful as the surroundings! We flew in late from Southeast Missouri where the heat index was 105 so we were in shorts.. landed in Montana late that evening and it was chilly - so the flannel sheets were wonderful - even in July! Sue is a very organized and detail person and goes out of her way to make sure you have a great stay - she even left a fishing lure for my husband to try! The home is just as lovely as the pictures portray - very well decorated and comfortable. We sat on the deck every morning and evening watching for wildlife. The location is great too - it is right between West Glacier and East Glacier - so just choose which ever direction and shortly you will be right in the park. There is a little café called Glacier Haven right across the road for when you don't feel like cooking - it is family owned by some really nice people - give them a try also! I would recommend this for those who want to "get away" from it all and still have comforts of home!"

  • The Perfect Home Base for Glacier National Park

"Where to begin? This could not be a more perfect base for a Glacier vacation! First, the beautiful log cabin! Second, the most gracious and lovely host, Penny! Lastly, it is perfectly situated to be able to indulge in the beauty of Glacier National Park. We visited and hiked 5 of the 7 regions of the park, easily coming "home" each night to this beautiful cabin. Fully equipped kitchen allowed us to make breakfast, pack trail lunches and enjoy wine by the fireplace while we made dinners. A little bit of heaven disguised as a VRBO!"

  • Beautiful cabin providing privacy with all the necessities a family needs.

"When we arrived, we were very happy with the cabin and the location. It's very private but close to hwy 2, which is the road we travelled to most of our destinations. We knew that there was no Wi-Fi or television channels and had been looking forward to experiencing time without them. Each day we had a planned activity away from the cabin (zip lining, rafting, west glacier) and would come back and spend the evenings sitting outside talking, taking walks to the river or sitting inside watching movies or reading books. We have college aged children that came with and we all had a wonderful time. The first morning we saw the female moose - which was really awesome to see. The inside of the cabin is very cute, it had everything our family needed. Would definitely recommend it."
