  • Best trip we've ever taken!

"It was incredibly relaxing and tranquil! The right amount of seclusion and perfect distance from the closest town. We've recommended this house to all our friends. We will definitely be back!"

  • Spectacular Mountain Retreat!

"From the moment we drove into this lovely property we discovered a unique, magical estate to host three generations of our family. The house backs up to 1.4 million acres of National Forest at the end of a County Road, so there was absolutely no traffic. Every day, evening and night was exceptionally peaceful and quiet. Resting on 40 acres nestled right next to the mountains, surrounded by an evergreen forest was the perfect setting for our daily adventures. We hiked trails on the Forest Service roads which can also be used for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. The house was newly renovated with attention to detail. While it has the ambience of a log cabin, it also provides all of modern amenities. The views from every room are breathtaking. The house has central heat and a lovely gas burning fireplace for warmth and a cozy setting. We love to cook. The kitchen is completely stocked with utensils, dishes and cookware as well as spices not commonly found in vacation rentals. The very large yard is completely surrounded by a six foot fence containing cherry, apple, plum and pear trees which would be wonderful for a summer retreat. We experienced daily visits from deer, squirrels, chipmunks, turkeys and other wild birds. All generations enjoyed the outdoor actives of the wildlife while we dined next to a beautiful bay window. The description in the printout pretty much describes the other features. Glacier Park is an hour’s drive away, Big Mountain Ski resort is 40 miles away. Beautiful hidden mountain lakes and mountain streams are within 5 miles of the property. According to the avid fishermen and women in the family , all perfect for angle or fly-fishing. We are already planning a visit this summer. Can't wait to return to this special private estate!"

  • All round awesome!

"This was the perfect place for my siblings and partners and other family to come together for a four day stay. Just trust the directions to the property and let the fresh mountain air and wonderfully appointed luxurious home take over. We prepared most of our meals on site and found the kitchen to be fully stocked with spices, condiments etc. This is a very spacious home with many comfortable sitting spaces inside and outside. We enjoyed some good walks and the scenery is beautiful."

  • We loved it!

"Great for our family of 6 plus grandpa! We had fun playing cards, talking with one another and sitting in the chairs looking out at the lake. It would be nice to have a way to play music...Maybe a plug in or Bluetooth speaker that can connect to a phone. Or maybe a WiFi connection (although I can completely understand how it would be nice to not be connected at ALL times 😊򒠠). The movies were a hit with my teenage daughters because they hadn't seen many of them since they were little."
