"Trail House is set in a wooded area with no close neighbors. This made the house very quiet day and night. There is a full size kitchen stocked with lots of cookware/dishes/silverware/glasses of all types/mugs/even some spices, washer and dryer, very comfortable couch, nice size television, good size table to eat, nice size bedroom with a soft chair to sit, and bathroom has a tub/shower combo. We sat outside in the chairs provided in the evenings reading books enjoying the wonderful Montana weather. You feel like you are far away from a city, but actually you are a short walk into downtown Bigfork. You are also very close to Flathead National Park which has some fabulous hikes. We highly recommend staying at Trail House when visiting Bigfork area."

  • Absolutely Charming

"Absolutely adore this place. It felt like home. Ben and I enjoyed cooking, drinking wine, conversation around the campfire, exploring, lounging, and enjoying the expansive collection of VHS movies. Chad was a great help over the phone and it was a pleasure to meat Rhonda (and dog Cedar). I love that they are very animal friendly and allow for pets- my dog Millie loved it just as much as we did. This little cabin has so many fun quirks from the claw foot tub to the adorable tea cup set. It was the perfect weekend get away at an affordable price. We will definitely be back!"

  • Wonderful and beautiful place to stay with your family or other group.

"Our family stayed in this VRBO while we attended a family wedding a couple of miles away, in early September. It was perfect for our group, including 10 people. The home is beautiful, with great beds, nice linens, and beautiful leather western furniture. It is open and spacious and built with lodge pole pine. Everything was clean and inviting, with a well-equipped kitchen. It is near the beautiful Swan River, and we had deer in the yard, along with a swing and horses near by for the kids to enjoy seeing. Our whole family was amazed at how nice it was, and we would definitely highly recommend it. The owners were very nice as well."

  • BEST Place we have found in Bigfork!!!

"We have been vacationing in Bigfork in late Summer or early Fall for years, and we are so pleased to have found this townhome!! We have stayed nearby in other accommodations and none of those compare to this one, and this one was less expensive too! The beds are all so comfortable, the decorations are so perfect for Montana but not overdone, and we found the kitchen great for cooking as we ate several dinners there! Great views in all directions with two nice balconies for drinking and dining outdoors with a view of the mountains, close to the fun, historic and quaint town of Bigfork with great shopping and restaurants, and easy drive to Glacier National Park! The only regret is that we hadn't booked it for longer!"
