  • Perfect rental for a big family

"This is the second year our family has rented the Chateau. It couldn't be a better fit for a big group that includes both adults and children. Little ones can be put to bed and away from the noise of adults, who can enjoy a terrific game room/bar, or sit outside on the deck and delight in the incredible views of the lake. The home is fully stocked with almost anything you want or need and there are enough dishes and flatware to host a big family dinner. Two refrigerators make it easy to have room for all the guests' food and drinks. There is a great washer and dryer if you're staying for several days and need fresh laundry. It has quick and easy access to grocery shopping, golf and public lake access.Todd and Shelly could not have been more accommodating. We'll be back!"

  • Didn't want to leave!

"Add us to the long list of people who want to return to this wonderful place on the lake. We stayed a week and wished it was longer. The view is spectacular. The home is well equipped. We felt like it was home but with the wonderful views. Don't hesitate to book this place for your vacation. You can relax, swim, or take the kayaks out on the lake. Owners Fred and Sherrie are wonderful and interested in making sure you enjoy your stay. We will be back!"

  • Wonderful Place

"What a great place to spend a week! Teresa was very helpful and made me feel instantly at home. The house was clean, comfortable and warm, as well as having everything needed to make the stay easy and fun. The decks are perfect for watching the sunset over the lake or having morning coffee. I really enjoyed the beach area, swimming in the lake and having a bar-b-que there for sunset dinners. To sum it up I loved my stay and I'll definitely be back there!"

  • Love the location!!

"This was a very nice home. There is a wall of windows facing the lake. All the kids loved the loft and it has a private balcony. It was stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, everything we needed except food:) We cooked almost every meal there (thank you Costco) and found everything we needed. On the deck, there is a covered area that worked great for shade and one evening when it was raining. The deck is big and has two jet ski lifts and a boat lift and even has lights if you need them in the evening. The wood was replenished while we were there by the house manager. He had actually built the house and several of the docks around us including ours. He visited with us about the area and houses he had built around us, super nice guy. The neighbors on both sides were friendly and we enjoyed visiting with them. The yard was big and green and well maintained. The orchard had apples and cherries and was a great spot for taking pictures. The washer and dryer was new and I think a bigger size, super handy. The house was located in a beautiful, scenic area. While we were there, we went to a brewery in Lakeside that had great food and as an added bonus kids were free that day (Monday). We also rented a pontoon and drove it around Wild Horse Island, we saw a lot of wildlife but no horses:( It would be a great place to hike but with the little ones we couldn't."
