  • Felt like home

"The cabin was lovely. It was clean and very comfortable. Our teenage son enjoyed the TV access and internet availability. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with spices, oils, coffee, right down to ziploc bags! We made our contribution of things due to truly appreciating not having to buy every little thing you need to cook when renting a condo. Outdoor table and chairs and grill were very nice. Beautiful basket of flowers on outdoor table needed water when we got there but rebounded nicely and just added to the comfort and beauty of deck area. Wildlife galore. Only down side is no laundry facilities in house, however laundry room was clean and convenient and we took advantage of Elmer's Pond while waiting on our clothes. We would book this cabin again in a heartbeat !!"

  • Amazing log cabin on beautiful Spoon Lake

"The description and pictures of this cabin on Spoon Lake seemed too good to be true, but as soon as we arrived we knew we were in for a great week. The custom log cabin (which is more like a small lodge) is very comfortable and furnished with an assortment of rustic furniture and decorations. It easily accommodated our family of 6 adults and 2 young children. There is a wonderful view of the lake from the front porch, and the tall trees surrounding the cabin made us feel like we had the whole lake to ourselves. The lake water is crystal clear and we saw and heard a pair of loons every day. There was also a large family of ducks that showed up next to the dock as soon as they saw us. We saw, but could not catch, several largemouth bass, and our grandsons had a ball catching small perch while fishing from the dock. We used the canoe several times each day for fishing, or just to explore the shoreline. We had the good fortune of being here during a week of warm weather and went swimming off the dock every afternoon. The lake bottom is soft, so a swim tube or inflatable raft are recommended. Even though the setting made us feel like we were in the wilderness, Columbia Falls and Whitefish are both full service communities a short drive away. Glacier National Park is close by and easy to find, although we learned that in July you have to get there very early in the day to find any parking at popular stops along the Going to the Sun Road. Owners Jackie and Gib Black are great hosts and did everything possible to prepare us for our stay and answer our questions promptly. We thoroughly enjoyed our week at their "home" on Spoon Lake."

  • Very clean and comfortable home!

"Diana is an incredible communicator! Her home is very clean, comfortable, and welcoming. I highly recommend this home for a vacation rental. For five of us, we had lots of space and it was more comfortable than a cramped hotel room. A great value!"
